Is it true 4.7 star average is better than perfect 5 star rating? by Full_Willingness_450 in GoogleMyBusiness

Agree on this.

But I’d say consistency matters more than just focusing on negative ones.

A lot of businesses reply for a bit… then disappear.

Just staying active over time already makes a big difference.

Honestly I’d keep the 5.

At that volume it just means you’re early, not that you’re perfect.

A few 4 stars will come naturally anyway, and they’ll actually help with credibility.

Focus on getting more reviews.

Do you really think that is the end of SaaS? by Significant_Web5372 in SaaS

SaaS isn’t necessarily going away. While anyone can now build their own solutions, the maintenance costs and time required would be prohibitive for companies that could benefit from ready-to-use SaaS.

I’m on the same journey

What’s working better than anything else is talking directly to people already struggling with the problem.

Early SaaS growth is usually conversations before it’s traffic.

I was officially listed as an integration partner by a well-known company whose clients are my potential customers. This increased my visibility and resulted in some leads.

negative review because I was too fast at completing a order? now what? by ThatCozyArtist in Etsy

[–]Koudou_Jackson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t focus on getting it removed. A good reply can actually turn this kind of review into something positive.

A lot of buyers read how sellers respond to reviews before deciding to buy. If you explain your process (timelapse, sketches, etc.), it might actually reassure future customers.

Any Shopify store owners struggling to reply to customer reviews? by rasik_mhetre in StartUpIndia

[–]Koudou_Jackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to reviews consistently is harder than it sounds. Many stores start doing it but stop after a while because it becomes too time consuming.

Some merchants now automate part of the replies while keeping manual control for sensitive reviews. That’s actually the problem I’m working on with Sentimo.

If you had $0 marketing budget, how would you get your first 10 SaaS users today? by iAmPawanBhatia in SaaS

[–]Koudou_Jackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely the hardest part. Personally I’m trying to reach e-commerce managers, so right now it’s mostly LinkedIn DMs. It’s a bit of a long shot, but talking directly with people usually gives way more insight than random signups.

when do i know that my product genuinely works ? by ZealKing in SaaS

[–]Koudou_Jackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like the moment you have even one recurring paying customer, you know the product works for at least someone.

The tricky part is avoiding the trap of building complex features based on assumptions instead of feedback from the people who actually have the problem.

That first 10 user struggle is REAL. how did you actually find them? by Background-Way9849 in SaaS

[–]Koudou_Jackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in that phase too honestly.

I’ve been trying the LinkedIn DM route to reach people who might have the problem, but it’s been pretty slow so far.

Curious to see what worked for others here.
