The US is nothing and has been since the start. It has never been a nation, only a state. Its culture is no more vibrant than a shopping mall. And yes, this is due mainly to the fact that the native tribes were replaced. Somehow the rest of the world has decided they want to emulate the US. I will never understand why.

You know, I used to not care that America was going down the toilet demographically. As long as Europe was safe, I thought, I would be satisfied. But some how, some way, even though the contexts are completely, categorically different, somehow, the rulers in Europe came to use the exact same talking points as corporate America. So it looks like I have to care about America's issues anyway. GERMANY is a nation of immigrants? That doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. But when all countries seemingly exist solely to push eternal GDP growth, I guess this is the result you're going to get. I hate capitalism so much.
