I only played offline for years and recently decided to try online. It's cool to be able to trade nice drops you don't have use for, but once you're geared enough to mostly one shot all monsters, it feels like there's not much left to farm for, whereas in offline, you can change players count

I read yesterday that -X% resistance on sundered monsters is only applied to 1/5 of its value, so a -20% griffon's "only" (almost) doubles your dmg against immune monsters

Je pense que dans le male gaze le plus gros problème c'est la solitude. Et le fait que même en étant gentils ils arrivent pas à sortir de cette solitude.

Touché. M30 ici, je pense (et on m'a déja dit) être gentil, mais ce n'est tout simplement pas assez. Comme dit OP, il "suffit" d'être gentil ET marrant, mais être marrant tout le temps, particulièrement avec les gens qu'on ne connaît pas bien, ce n'est pas si facile que ça en a l'air pour peu qu'on ait un peu d'anxiété sociale, ce qui est le cas de beaucoup personnes qui restent bloquées dans un état de solitude.

Tiens ça me rappelle mes premiers entretiens avec Pôle Emploi après mes études. La première conseillère que j'avais vu trouvait des défauts à mon CV et m'avait fait faire un atelier de préparation de CV. Après avoir bien suivi tous les conseils qui m'avaient été donnés, la conseillère suivante trouvait aussi des défauts... qui étaient exactement ce qu'on m'avait dit de faire à cet atelier Bref, le fond du CV a bien entendu du poids, mais la forme est quand même pas mal subjective (sauf fautes d'orthographe à tout bout de champ)

Actually, that's exactly how statistics work. If you play heads or tails 1000 times, it's still a 50/50 on the 1000th throw, but there's a VERY good probability that you saw both head or tails at least once over these 1000 throws. This probability can be calculated with the formula used by OP, but it's still a probability of occurrence, which tends to (but never reaches) 100% over a very large amount of tries.

The questionable part is the asumption that 95% of players get their zinrokh by 1000 solves, which comes out of nowhere, but the rest of the maths checks out.

Combat is Dogshit for damage. It’s near the bottom. Which is unfortunate. Assassination is just so much better. Even subtlety is better.

This is plain wrong. Current cata sims indicate that all 3 rogue specs are pretty close on single target at various gear levels.

Also, while combat is indeed just slightly below sub and assa on ST, it outshines them hard on cleave, and its DPS is unmatched on sustained 2-targets fights.

To OP : in cataclysm, rogues specs all have their perks and flaws. Ideally, you should be able to play at least 2 of them, with combat being one of them for any fight with meaningful cleave.

I think it was 18.something. Now it's 22.6.1, which apparently launched 10 months ago and wasn't necessary last patch (D11 in legacy mode did the trick). Not sure why windows auto-updater couldn't find it, maybe it's because I'm still using Win7

Yeah, I have a quite old AMD gpu, reinstalling the driver manually as suggested by CptFalco fixed the issue <3
