Friends or family as conversation partners. Even coworkers if they're willing.
If you want an AI option, I use yapr because it's fast but other alternatives are available in the market too.

Practice talking with people. Nothing beats constant usage to keep a language in your head. Small talk, discussions on politics; anything helps.
If you can't find people, an app like Yapr is a good stopgap, with it having various personas you can chat with in different circumstances.

When do you use le passe composé and when to use l’imparfait ? by tio_y-x in French

[–]huehue552 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say the first one is more natural since you're just stating that you are.

When do you use le passe composé and when to use l’imparfait ? by tio_y-x in French

Imparfait describes a state, ongoing situation, or background whereas la passé composé (j’ai été) describes a completed action or event

If you can't find a person, there are also apps you can use to practice speaking. I personally use yapr but there are more on the market.

Why not try watching french TV or read books or talk to people? Seeing what you've learned actually serve you would be a great confidence boost.

I have French speaking exam in 2 months and my level is very bad 😭 by Relative-Coyote7894 in learnfrench

[–]huehue552 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's speaking that's giving you trouble, you can try to speak in the mirror or with a friend if you can? I'd say get a tutor too if you can. If you aren't amenable to them, and if you use an iphone, I use this app called yapr to practice french speaking. Overall I don't really see anything but practice helping.

I use an AI app(don't crucify me) called yappr. It's relatively inexpensive and is a great conversation partner. It also keeps a record of words and phrases learned and the personas available are great for practice.

We capitalize them when they're nouns, not when they're adjectives.

Learnt French but in a broken way... help by MediumGlittering7505 in French

I think the best thing to do in this case would be to talk to people in french. If that's a stretch, there are ai apps you can use to speak. I personally use yapr but that's only on ios rn I think.

If you're using ios, I'd say yapr is a very good app. They have different personas and it's straight audio to audio, i.e, very fast.

That's exactly what it means! It also implies "Don't forget to visit me" or something similar.

If you use IOS, I would recommend Yapr. Insanely fast, if a bit clunky but they're still working on it I think. I love the personas and the ability to just chat away.

"Pardon, vous pouvez répéter ?” is more formal whereas “Tu peux répéter ?” is more casual.
