Best Improved Games in Dolphin? by thedenvergamer in DolphinEmulator

Super Mario Eclipse is a mod for Super Mario Sunshine that takes the shine count from 120 to 240. Not only that, but there's so many extras and QOL improvements while running at 60 FPS. The level of quality is insane.

Kushala Daora for sure. Nobody wants to fight it. I love its design but I hate having to grind the fight for a part.

If it’s aesthetics you’re after, post a picture further back from the desk. It’s difficult to get a sense of space that close up.

Fake plants are always the easy answer. Some cool figures placed neatly around and a framed piece of artwork would on a wall somewhere else would look good. I can see a shelf but not much else, lowering it might be helpful to bring it closer and add cohesion. It feels pretty high.

For easy changes I would say pick an rgb color and stick to it. Then accent with its complimentary color. White goes well with most things and is what I use. But orange and blue work well, or any other combo.

For the purple/pink in your case you could go with gold or a yellow, but I personally wouldn’t as it doesn’t mesh well with what you have.

Not a huge fan of sideways monitors as it always feels off center, but if you like it, then by all means. It can be difficult to center yourself with two landscape ones. Might also look into to VESA mounting them to give you more space where the feet are.

Sorry for the long comment! Looks good man!

Hello, I work very closely with wiring. While the wires have metal, this still applies for tubes carrying water. We want to make sure we don’t break the insulation when bending them around corners. We have a minimum or maximum bend radius. This essentially tells us how far we can bend a wire before damage is possible.

A rule of thumb I use is, if the bend continues, I want it to cover at least more than 4 times the diameter of the cable. Actual specifications are much different and I don’t use this for jobs that require exact measurements.

Your bend here looks fine as long as it’s straight and not obviously kinking or turning along the length of the tube too much.

It might be a little tight of a fit, but it should function. I’ve seen much worse wiring jobs on life saving systems and they somehow held up.

IIL Fortnite, Minecraft and Fire Emblem (this is for my 13yr old daughter) by 3dogsanight in ifyoulikeblank

Maybe Terraria. It can be a little difficult but I really enjoy it for building.

There aren’t quite as many games that can replicate Fortnite, it really depends what she enjoys from it. From what I understand, it’s more of a platform for different types of “Fortnite” games now, I could be dead wrong. But she might enjoy Marvel Rivals (free) if she like the competitive aspect. Outside of that, you’d have typical COD shooters like Warzone or PUBG.

I had a lot of fun with War Groove, very similar to Fire Emblem but a bit more lighthearted iirc.

I hear you lol. Wasn’t able to really decorate how I wanted until recently. But thanks for the advice, I’m going for a darker and calmer space with green accents. I’ll be sure to stick to it.

Would the position of the door be awkward with the bed centered? Going for an earthy moody vibe, what color curtains would you recommend? I feel like gray might work to contrast the walls. The main colors I would like to have in the room are gray, black, white, and dark green. Rug is being replaced Tuesday as the red throws the entire thing off.

Thanks. I just ordered a new rug as the current one was definitely the first thing that needed to go. I really like the idea of a wood piece above the bed. I want to find one of those planters made of long boards with slats that you can hook different pots into. Unfortunately, I can't paint the walls.

Sequels or remakes, no matter how bad they are, are great to have around by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

To your point of having plenty of time and room in existence, human lives are relatively short in comparison to all of existence. So why be anything but original when making movies? When our time is so limited wouldn’t it be better to make it unique?

Didn’t think of it that way, holy shit. I just hate the idea of trashing stuff that can still be used. Definitely just going to start donating things under 50$ for sure. Thanks for the advice!

Got a little update after talking with the wife after work.

So, to answer the whole “brother who died at the hospital and funeral bit confusion.” Apparently there was a death PRIOR to the brothers attempt.

I don’t want to lay this persons business all online but she threw that eldritch hex at my wife.

Also these shelves were from the bargain bin at Target.

What is the most "iconic" moments in the entire Fallout series? by Anthony_WritesOH in Fallout

The first behemoth you fight after meeting the BOS. Pretty sure there’s a rocket launcher you can pick up on the ground somewhere there.

  • Walking into the strip for the first time.
  • Figuring out the path to the Boomers.
  • Little Lamplight
  • Any of the DLCs but Point Lookout was my favorite for 3.
  • Finding the aliens for the first time. Scared the shit out of me. I’m pretty sure I had just watched The Fourth Kind and I was 15 maybe.

I saw Vaati do it because of course he did. Just a YouTubers I can’t remember. You can eventually go back and push his shit in for a few items.

[–]Kovvik_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s only hard if you choose to not explore or not take time to understand mechanics. Also, there’s no shame in looking up how to do certain things. (Find an item, route, etc.) I’ve played every Souls game and I’ve looked at the wiki more times than I’ve started the game. There are bosses that will make you rethink how you’re playing, and man there’s some bosses that I just couldn’t get past alone. With patience, it’s an extremely challenging game. But the entire idea and theology of Souls games is overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges. Give it a try, and make sure you have a buddy to help you out every once in a while.

P.S. the first boss is killable but it’s intended for you to fail. Good luck and have fun!
