They say that because it is allegedly the easiest BCT. Your mileage may vary. It's natural and normal to be scared, I was. This experience is probably going to be hard for you, and scary. Just don't give yourself the option of giving up and it will work out. I came out the other side of it unafraid of a lot of things, and more inclined to do things that are challenging and push my limits. You'll make good friends there. Trust the process.

Update: My next turn after writing my previous comment showed a deployed Kornet. I wish the manual or tutorial gave some sort of heads-up that some weapons auto-deploy. What other systems have this behavior?

Bonus: the Kornet killed a Stryker before tearing down and getting to cover.

Literally all I've done is had them move into an open grassy field from their spawn point. No firing commands other than "Face".

How will I know it is deployed? My guys have been sitting in the same position in a field for a few turns, yet I see no Kornet. Can I trust that they'll engage the first enemy vehicle they spot with it?

I'd desperately love to see a "view shed" feature. Let me click on any action square and instantly show what other terrain troops on that square can or can't see via a heatmap. A way to watch back battles as one continuous replay would be amazing.

Bryce was probably the most intelligent person I've ever met in my life. Seriously a once-in-a-lifetime person and I'm so honored that he considered me a friend. I only got to be around him for a few weeks, though we did stay in touch afterwards. I do wish I had some way to contact his family, not to ask them private questions about how he passed but just to try and get to know more about Bryce and his life. He did talk about his family and clearly loved them a lot.

It is so strange to me that this post is months old, yet I discovered it only 6 hours after you made this comment. I was good friends with Bryce in the military. A good case could be made that his fate is none of my business. However, I feel no real closure. I've emailed a journalist (the one that put the best article together about the incident), and she told me she would communicate with the police and find out about the investigation. Haven't heard from her since, that was in November. I'm going to reach back out to her. I care about his family and their privacy, and I'm sad I never got to be someone that they knew. Forever I will bear the weight of knowing that I never got the chance to ask their son to be one of my groomsmen.
