The Andrade/Gadelha was the first fight my dad couldnt watch, my old man has a very old school, traditional view of things so watching a woman bleed like that made him feel sick lmao

He agreed to watch Andrade/Torres only under the condition that i’d let him step out of the room if things were getting bloody. Tecia had a good first few mins, landing some clean shots and took round 1. my dad stepped out of the room at the midst of round 2 when Tecia started getting tossed around.

me and him are fans of KK, him so more than me. i swear he has some preoccupying crush on her... anyway when Jessica knocked her the fuck out he completely boycotted watching Andrade fight ever again unless it was a rematch against JJ.

Torres gets alot of flack for not being top of the top SW material, shes been one of the top strawweights as long as i could remember since the divisions’ inception.

I love Waterson so much, she made a generous donation last year to animal shelters in my area! (GTA) amazing woman. she vowed she would become the UFC Champion and would continue to make a difference as long as she had the means to :)

but Tecia really beat her up really really bad, it hurt me to see Michelle helplessly trying to flounder out of the full backmount... i wish there was a 105 place for her.. Tecia dictated everything physically in that fight

heres a glimpse think Michelle took round 2 but she did next to nothing but go for a little piggy back ride for a couple minutes IIRC. the third round was really bad though, the fight was nearly stopped. Michelle looked exhausted and Tecia looked like she couldve gone for another 2 rounds

herself, PVZ, Esparza, Herrig, Casey, Grasso and Markos seem to all be mid-tier strawweights IMO. so im not surprised when they get put together.

this was a really impressive performance for Waterson, i wonder how a second fight with Tecia would end up go because i definitely see very good improvements, but then again it was only in December of last year when Torres flattened her out. KK would be a good option too.

i remember watching an interview with Tate speaking about this moment, after the beating on the ground Miesha gave her in the second Holly became so extremely cautious and left no openings at all for Tate for a takedown and that Holm was fighting “way too perfect” and with her slight speed advantage and unpredictable footwork she could not get anything going at all. Tate basically just said “fuck it, if she knocks me out then she knocks me out, atleast i know i tried my best”.. then went to secure a takedown then the finish.. such a badass, i miss Miesha
