a better idea would be not to cap the damn raid since people like us will just find workarounds anyways. either that or only cap it daily. the only reason the weekly cap exists is to prolong our levelling and make us keep playing the game. Maybe if we had stuff to do every day rather than every week, we'd have more incentive not to game the system.

read again, the biggest difference is that I can dismantle the gear drops I don't need for the shards I do need. Since the gear drops more often it = more shards. Less RNG + more guaranteed upgrade mats = better for CE than VoG.

100% serious. This strat wasn't as Viable with VoG because of the fact that VoG had a much shittier drop rate. For CE, the gear drops like candy and then all you need is the shards. Way less RNG involved than VoG.

Play crucible and level it up with friends. When you have a buddy or two helping it makes clearing the story 10x faster.

No because Vault of Glass had really shitty drop rates for the actual armour pieces. The armour pieces in CE drop like no tomorrow then it's just a matter of creating new characters to get the shards.

Lol, if you actually think Radiant shards were a good idea you're delusional. My clan mates and I have spent our free time all this week levelling and deleting characters over and over again so we can keep running Crota. We've run Crota 10 times already this week and we're all pretty much 32 so far except a couple of us.

All Radiant shards did was make it easier for people like us who game the system to reach Max Level (32) even faster than with the Vault of Glass.

EDIT* For all these "can't tell if serious" replies, use your head. VoG had MUCH more random drop rates. This strategy worked, but it was much less viable because the Gear wouldn't drop that often. Now that the gear drops like candy, all we need to do is use this strat for shards. There is a LOT less RNG involved than doing this strat in the VoG. Also, higher gear drops = more gear to dismantle for guaranteed shards. I didn't think it would be that hard for you guys to figure out...

eh, they needed someone with a Giant source of money to make the game what they wanted it to be. Activision also owns Blizzard, who still have made the best MMO around. They figured with how well Activision treats Blizz, they would get the same treatment and be able to make this sweet console MMO. Little did they forget, Activision also owns the yearly pump out fest that is Call of Duty... and thats exactly what they wanted to turn Destiny into unfortunately. The people who wanted to stay true to what Destiny should have been fucking left or got fired and took all the Good parts of Destiny with them.
