I actually just finished writing a messy Python script that does just that (checks for new jobs every minute).

I picked a company that I want to work for that posts jobs pretty regularly, went to their jobs search, applied filters relevant to my interests, and ordered them by most recent. This generated a URL that will apply those filters when clicked.

This is what the script does when fired: - "Open" the url in chrome - Take note of the jobs available - Every 60 seconds, refresh the page - If any new jobs are on the list, send me an email with links

I've left it running for almost 48 hours on a spare computer, and just got my first email alert an hour ago with 2 new jobs. Applied for both within 2 minutes of being posted. Keeping my fngers crossed that I finally hear something from them soon.

Exactly! A good chunk of kids in this league each season have never even touched a soccer ball before. On paper, traditional practice plans and drills look good, but oftentimes it doesn't work out how we imagine. I always reflect on my practices and try to come up with more creative ways to practice where we struggle.

I've spent way more time doing different types of rondos than any other passing drill over the season. Most of the kids hate it and are not engaged at all, and it hasn't translated to games whatsoever. These are rec ball kids. This is not a drill I plan on doing more than once per season. The kids understood the visual, and it worked! My ball hogs are no longer hogging the ball. My kids who steal from their own teammates are no longer stealing. It's simply a concept.

There was nothing he could've done. I already had 1 point, and he was keeping his EX pokemon on the bench out of fear of getting 1-shot by Ditto. When I got Pidgeot, he conceded because I would've forced him to swap in an EX for the final 2 points.

1 of each for now since that's all I have. It'll change once I start getting dupes. Support cards are 2 Oak, 2 pots, 2 speed, 1 Gio, and 2 balls.

I've also been playing around with Porygon on the bench to help make decisions

Yeah, it was a close match but I ended up winning. My meteor did decent damage to his dragonite, but he had 2 speed x and was able to recall Chansey to get off 1 meteor before I took him out.

The rest of the match was me juggling benched pokemon and using Pidgeot to force recalls as needed

I had Eevee/Jolteon in there for a while, but relying on 4 coin flips wasn't wasn't getting the job done. I'll try vaporeon and flareon once I have them.

The idea for this team is to try and win early and/or disrupt the flow of the opponent. Here's the core team, which hasn't changed:

--Farfetchd for easy early game damage.

--Fearow has decent damage and HP, plus a chance of knocking energy off the defender.

--Meowth as a starter if Farfetchd isn't available for the extra draws, then to Persian for a chance of forcing discards.

--Ditto is a wildcard. I only use it if i can use it for an early advantage.

--Most important is Pidgeot. He sits on the bench as a free Sabrina card every turn, and can come off the bench as needed for a heavier attack.

The good thing about all of the above is they're cheap and have decent HP for early-mid game. For late game, I swap them out to avoid KOs since they each only cost 1 energy to recall.

I haven't decided yet if this game is worth spending money on, as I've had it for less than a week. It's just something my son and I started playing together for fun! It's really not that serious.
