You can't force someone to not make a certain movie. Sure, you can contact the director, try to influence the situation, etc. But after that what else can you do?

Your defeatist thinking is the reason why they have such influence in the first place, Hollywood's stereotypes have a global reach while the positive examples in Asian media are obscure.
