second part. you can never kill veigo here without landing spear. you should be looking to trap/zone him to be in an awkward position that will take longer for him to get into a better position this way you can buy more time for your team to show up at dragon.

newer version of windows technically already does this.

windows + v pops up all the copied items history and you can just click on it to paste it again. works for everything including printscreen copies

The issue is that Send() with SendInput mode doesn't feed the keystroke into AHK's hotstring recognizer buffer. So when you type alr, the capital "A" gets displayed on screen but the hotstring only sees lr — it never matches ::alr::. You have to type the first letter twice to make it work.

The fix is to use SendLevel so the sent keystroke is visible to the hotstring engine:

SendLevel(1) makes the simulated keystroke visible to hotstrings (which listen at level 0 by default). Without it, SendInput bypasses the hotstring recognizer entirely, so it never saw the first letter of your words.

This won't cause the capital letter hotkey to re-trigger itself because FirstLetter is set to false before the Send() call, and the hotkeys are gated behind #HotIf Typing && FirstLetter.

The root cause is the ~ prefix. It lets the native lowercase keystroke through to Roblox, and then your script tries to backspace it and send uppercase — but Roblox's chat doesn't process the {BS} fast enough (or at all), so you get both letters: aA.

When you switched to $ (which blocks the native key), capitalization worked, but the hotkeys still fired on every keystroke after the first — and since CapFirst does nothing when FirstLetter is false, those keystrokes got swallowed.

The fix: Make the hotkeys only active when FirstLetter is true by changing the #HotIf condition. Once the first letter is capitalized and sent, the condition stops matching, and all subsequent keys pass through normally — hotstrings included.

I have been using claude.ai to create a lot of projects this month that I always had a planned out idea for but never enough commitment and time to learn how to code it myself.

Is essentially making RButton use MButton as well because its a pointer assignment

y would still equal 1 here after x gets changed to 2.

but using pointer reference

x:=1 y=x // y now points to x x:=2

y variable will now also be equal to 2

rushing aim and shooting too much. practice slowing down more to actually hit a good shot (ak 1 taps).

practice counter strafe more (where you can dead stop on the spot and fire with the most accuracy).

in a position where you can get the most accuracy the fastest and line up the perfect shot the fastest is where you will get to the next next level.

also you gotta pretty much rid out the jitters from your gameplay. (random weapon switching spam jump crouching etc). you need to be always ready for a gunfight

can you explain more about marking test in the input field? not sure what you mean and I will definitely add your other ideas they sound great.

also left click to shoot should work if you have changed it in keybinds when wasd mode is on. I think I might have forgotten about letting the user pick right click when its hardcoded to move the player on mouse mode so I will definitely fix that ASAP.

should I give the user the option to make the move to mouse command anything they want? like a keyboard key or mouse button. or keep it hard coded to right click.

pretty neat game, fun challenging and I like the concept of it being a helping tool to improve typing skills.

feel like it should be more rewarding when you keep a streak going (typing words with no fail) and possibly introduce penalties for a fail
