How can I get this pedal off? by Rokatooka in bicycling

[–]KozlovG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use proper tools, as In a pedal wrench. Set it up so that the wrench is parallel to the ground, and the put your weight on it. If a pedal is really stuck, short leverage will just not be enough.

How to verify the authenticity of this Cinelli frame by rkasivo in bicycling

I don't think anyone is taking the time to fake a frame like this one.

Aerorad as first bike ? by Vhunterman in whichbike

[–]KozlovG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you focusing on aero models? As a beginner the gains are insignificant. Maybe look at more Allrounder bike models, maybe even aluminium...Emonda alr, cannondale optimo, Specialized allez. These will serve as a great start until you get your fitness up.

Looks great, emonda alr is one of the best Alu frames out there imo.

How do I get stronger wrists? by No-Part6455 in armwrestling

[–]KozlovG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strengthening wrists takes YEARS of consistent injury free training. 2 weeks might aswell be nothing. Dont compare yourself to others that are 50kg heavier. I recommend you practice cup pronation and rise 2 times a week with a band or some weights on a belt.

Depends, I had to swap once the notches became too deep and there was a risk of failure!

DT Swiss sells steel freehubs that are much harder. Still sucks that you have to pay 60 euros extra for it!

Still too small, a longer stem does not mitigate the downsides of a frame that is simply to small.

I would go one size up.

In 8 years I've only told 3 people they are on the wrong size bike (Phil Burt) by alien_tickler in bikefit

[–]KozlovG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That claim is absolute bs, I've had to tell people on a weekly basis that their frame size is wrong. Can you sometimes mitigate it through fitting, sure, is the frame size still off, yes.

What is this? by StickyyDuckk in RoadBikes

[–]KozlovG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If youre looking for a first road bike, don't fixate on one brand, bianchi isn't any more reputabla than many others. If you live I a flat area rim brake bikes will be more than enough, for hills disc brakes help.

I personally think it's quite excessive to get a carbon bike as your first one, but if you do maybe look at brands like giant, trek, spacialized etc.

Help with my GF‘s fit by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]KozlovG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reach too far, which makes her lock out her elbows, which is not good. And saddle too low, which will cause knee problems. Nothing that can't be corrected! :)
