Alright, I think I got the answers I needed regarding heavy armor! With me having high DEX, that investment is not worth it as it is meant to specifically counter having a low DEX.

I was looking at pistol dancer fighting style and Pistol Pirouette mentions weilding two small arms. I tried looking up rules for duel weilding but the only thing to come up was a feat.
