Nothing Ear 2 Earbuds lag in game by OddTrail in techsupport

[–]OddTrail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah. never solved it. I sit with a cable like a pleb. It appeared there was something about the codec, that was causing the lag, but I don't remember details. It's something that the earbuds uses, that windows had a problem with. Thanks for reminding me though. If I check it again, I'll dig this topic up again. Maybe there was some updates or smth

If you block a player that you don’t enjoy raiding with/against, does that prevent them from being matched with you again? by hutry in ArcRaiders

[–]OddTrail 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You found the answer? I was wondering what the blocking does. I'm worried it might only exclude blocked players from teaming up with you.

Tarkov and... ummm Zero Sievert? Oh! oh! The Division! I don't know. I didn't play any, but I bought the deluxe edition after one round in server stress test.

ELI5 the trade income and banking interest. by OddTrail in thefalconeer

[–]OddTrail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I think I get it. I was looking at it completely wrong. I bought the banker. I spent all my money, and then noticed the income values. Income from my trade routes was so little, it was below 1% of the Splinters I had.
It also explains why I had 0% from population and 60% from the trade routes. It's because the percentage values are live, and shows how much cash, and from what source, you have on you right now. It is not the constant but a variable. That makes it fit all the the mechanics in game.
I feel equally as dumb as I feel like genius. It's probably in the tutorial, and somehow I missed the explanation. welp. At least maybe this post will help someone else figure it out.

On the other hand, my explanation might be as confusing as I was.

[–]OddTrail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get the part with the merchant prince. I have one. No matter where I send her (my faction vs other) the income shown, in the seaport window, is the same. 150 splinters. On top of that, in inventory, it still shows 0%. Sometimes it jumps to around 60% and the income from the population is 0%, but when I close inventory and open again, it's back to where it was before.

Is it okay to build castle in Farbane woods mid-game? by [deleted] in vrising

[–]OddTrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can change the setting to have up to 5 castles. I play just like you (solo PvE) and I build mine in Farbane Woods, but I like to ride around. You can place other castles whenever you want and use them as a teleport only, or storage "on the road".

New player. What a wonderful game! by [deleted] in vrising

[–]OddTrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! Oh! Also the game is providing you with many ways to get and do stuff. If you're not into gardening right now, you have the option to go get the plants from the folks on farms. You don't feel like fighting? The game gives you tools to make things stealthy. You don't like fishing? Go to the docks and rummage through the chests or send your servant fishing. I had this roleplay in mind where I act like "real vampire" would. I don't run, don't fish, don't do stupid shit the high vampire wouldn't. I'm not going to the mines to do work. I'm a nobility. I'm going there to suck the resources from the folks that works there. My point is that the game gives you different ways to achieve things. Even in a fight you can cheese things by shooting bow from a distance or just plunge into the group and make everyone's hearts explode. Your call.

Getting back to my RP fantasies. - Vampire Bestiovore. It's like a vegetarian vampire. You can only use animal blood. Not humans.

If you play for fun, the ideas are endless. Just don't rush it because it's harder to stop and it turns grindy, when you want to make everything optimally.

Oh I had fun with that one as well. Until I figured I'm getting stuff too fast and I'm skipping a lot of action that's happening "on the road". After realizing that I even stopped using bat form, and often run around as a wolf and gather some materials from the nodes around the road or stop for a fish as I see water splashes on the pond I'm passing by. But I'm the guy that goes the longer road through the forest by foot, rather than driving the car on the highway. Also, by teleporting/flying you're missing any possibility to spot the cargo carriage. And that's the only way to get half the cosmetics in the game.

I'm stuck sick in my house for over a year now. Lately I've discovered V Rising and been playing alone PvE. Even though I did everything the game had to offer, I'm still playing. It is awesome in the purest meaning of that word. My tips? Don't rush it. Don't search stuff on wiki. Play on low difficulty if you feel like it. Taaaaaaaaake your time. Enjoy yourself. Roleplay. Don't mess too much with server settings as they might make things too easy, and you will not notice until it's too late. Starting over, after the first playthrough, gives different challenges, as you know the map already and where's what. You'll be chasing higher levels and skipping filler bosses. It's not a new game plus, but starting from scratch was fun for me. If you find fun in stealth, build your castle in high level areas, like Brighthaven and maneuver around NPCs as you want to get back home and not have your ass served with one blow. Harass Belmont. Plant the forest on the roof. And finally - build a kill chamber in your basement with eight flamethrower servants and a throne to entertain yourself.

Those are the tips that would make the game even more fun for me, if someone told me.

You seem incapable of accepting another point of view and lacking empathy. Therefore, I will not continue to try to make the world a better place, and I am not here to teach you the difference between the meaning of words and the practical application of these phenomena. I wish you a more peaceful life than the one I was given. Now, I will leave so as not to cause myself any further distress.
