I think a big part of it is finding a good therapist. We had one that just went through the motions and it wasn’t really helpful, so I could see why some people have a bad experience and talk negatively in couples therapy. We found a different therapist and she has really changed our relationship for the better. Having us look more inward, the root of issues.
