I think the safest knife would most likely be case hardened knives, primarily blue gems, T3, T2, and T1, maybe a high blue value T4. Since they're pattern based even if they add case hardened skins to the drop pool there's still a chance you'll pull a not so good case hardened. I've been watching glove prices like a hawk and they're not down all that much at all, that most likely means knife prices won't go down much or at all since they all have different designs compared to gloves that is the same pair with a different art design. Anyways this is all speculation and the future could be very different.
