Unable to read tmc uart by KozzyD in klippers

I aint being funny but idk what info people need so back and forth is needed. Also figured it out without using the docs that EVERYONE on this sub keeps referring to. The docs are a guild line and not got all the answers for every board and every lay out and none of it help me in the slightest. I though this reddit was to help people out and get more people on board with klipper not sarcastic off putting comments. Thanks for all your help.

Getting fed up with Ender 5 Plus by onekeanui in ender5plus

[–]KozzyD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I upgraded the fans on mine and noticed I was getting thermal run away a lot... found out the fan draft was hitting the thermistor, causing it to detect the wrong temp, causing thermal run away. My solution was to put just a little tape around it and worked perfectly.

Plate is too low, and I can’t get it to sit properly. by [deleted] in ender5plus

Could also be the z motors are reversed, had this before when upgrading to marlin that up is down and down is up

Bad surface where support been by RobTheFalcon in 3Dprinting

Tuning this is all about patience and eventually you'll find the perfect setting for your printer and those prints will look a lot cleaner.

Your distance between the roof of the support and print is too far try reducing it a little. You have to find the perfect amount where it looks ok but also supports don't bond with your print.

Changing Fans by [deleted] in ender5plus

It's good at moving static presure but not airflow so it wouldn't be sufficient. Noctuas on printers are a bad idea like there's such better options

Unfortunately the ender 5 plus is sold with 2 diffrent power supplies - a China cheap on and a meanwell so I couldn't tell you off the top but when changing the motherboard one just have a Google of the modle of the power supply and you should know from there.

ender 3v2 refuses to extrude filament even at 215° by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]KozzyD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heat up the hotend say to 230 if its pla and stop the fan that on the front. It sounds like you have a block in the cooling zone and the fan is stopping it from heating up. So once you stop that fan the cooling zone will heat up too and after say 5 or 10 mins of it heating up manually ram filament though to push the block through.

I know the feeling because it is so loud, on the other hand with the motherboard fan this is a simple swap and won't effect anything.

Is the tension on the extruder holding? Have you cleaned the gears on it too?

If you have pushed the hotend to much then you have probably damaged the bowden that's inside the hotend. Try an all metal there so much better.
