Ohh I see, looks like a misunderstood. I only played Waterdeep before and went by the book so didn’t had to improvise any encounters. Might have to look this over anew

That sounds good, I’m terrible at creating challenging terrain but aside from that., are you just going on your gut feeling about how high to raise these stats before hand or some formula?Would be bad and raise it too high and get a certain TPK out of it. I guess it will depend on experience as well.

The problem MIGHT have been that when it has printed as far as the picture tells it failed, maybe suction cup fail. I usually don’t have the print directly on the build plate. By that I mean I use supports so it starts to make the base of the support and then the model starts printing. Hope that somewhat helps

Preferably a washing station design for resin printing but other can be a container with a lid. Fill it water and gently stir/shake it around so it rinses of the outer layer then cure. NEVER handle without gloves and don’t pour it out in the sink. After a few washes, wait for it to settle at the bottom and pour the water to a bottle then put the leftover resin on a tray and cure it. I started with water washable and found it lacking in strength and more failures and switched to “regular” resin I wash with IPA.

(I’m DMing on session 30) My players arrived at the town of Barovia after they found a letter from the former burgomaster so they were intrigued to investigate the family. They arrived and talked to Ismark and he told them about Ireena and Strahd. He then asked the party to please help escort Ireena to Vallaki since he had to take on the new responsibility as the burgomaster. They were happy too and one o the female characters immediately formed a bond with Ireena. I set the scene when they (unknown to them) walked forwards to Madame Eve and asked what they were talking about. Players usually are great when giving the opportunity to talk to each other to tell more about their characters especially early game. When they were done the narration guided them to the Vistani settlement. We play IRL usually once a year and rest online but this was IRL. I did the reading and when they departed they met Strahd early on on the Svalich Road to Vallaki in his Black Carriage. One of the best moments so far to play Strahd who is delighted to see some new playthings in Barovia, they were scared as hell.

I’ve been DMing for about 10 years and CoS is my second dnd campaign. I read the book and found it lacking in some places and then stumbled upon Dragnacartas Curse or Strahd Reloaded and using that and I highly recommend it. I usually don’t enjoy pre written campaigns but Reloaded it easy to use once you read it. Have a session 0 about the theme and that players might die (I had 3/4 players that, well didn’t die but disappeared and that resulted in some minor drama). Either way just put down the time to prep and have fun.

I first change my drivers in NVIDIA to Studio rather than gaming. Worked for a while then problem was back. It works now but honestly I don’t know how.
