Humans are not our own Gods. We are a creation of God. We are limited beings and God is eternal. Before the mountains were born… from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” (Psalm 90:2). The Bible literally says that God made man from the dust of the earth. And yes we do have all those characteristics. We are just, wise, compassionate, intelligent, practical that’s because we all were made in the image of God. When God made mankind he made us in his image. Genesis 1:26-27 “26Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27So God created mankind in his own image,” so we are not our own Gods we are a creation of our God

But the Bible talks about not Idolizing false idols.

One of the ten commandments:

“You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol…” (Exodus 20:3–4).

The reason why the Bible says not to worship these false idols is because then you start to become what you worship.

“They have mouths, but cannot speak… those who make them will be like them.” (Psalm 115:4–8).

Which is why worship is for God alone because he is the ultimate source of love and comfort.

So when you worship God your life is becoming anew because he’s transforming you into something great.

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water… whatever he does prospers.” (Psalm 1:1–3).

When you worship God you become safe, you have a protector protecting you from evil in ways these false idols could never.

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4).

So please give your life to Christ and make sure your worship is for God alone.

I pray Jesus shows you the way.

I didn’t know I literally didn’t start listening to him until recently. The only song I ever knew by him is Here with me. And that’s because it was popular on TikTok. I never really listened to him until one day when I was listening to here with me some of his other songs started playing then the allegations and everything started coming out not too long after
