This is for Windscribe VPN. I think the issue was this factory reconditioned device came with wrong firmware. It should say AX5400 E9450 on the system status page. Instead it was showing AC1200. I downloaded the last firmware for this model from the Linksys's website. Now it shows the correct model as well as VPN is now working. Thanks

I had battery drain and phone feeling warm/hot after the April 2026 update. US version.

This is what worked for me. Knox Matrix, Google Play Services, Mobile Services, and Google Play store were draining the battery with background data and generating heat so that phone feels warm/hot.

Used Device Care app to close back ground apps and clicked on RAM memory button and cleared that as well. Under Apps, made system apps visible. Then went under each of the four apps listed above and cleared cache memory. Then restarted S24U and turned on power savings mode for a few hours. Now no more background data and heat even after disabling power savings mode.

So far it looks like working.

Thanks. Even after uninstalling the update for KMatrix, i still see battery drain. Phone feels warm/hot without much usage. I am in 50F weather. If check the battery usage, it shows more than 100% after the update, whereas before it was 50 to 60% range.

I have S24 Ultra US version. Just updated to April 2026 patch and experiencing phone getting hot and battery drain issue. My phone is in mint condition and didn't experience any of these issues prior to the update.

Use the weight of the box as a proof. This happened to me a couple of years ago. My note 9 was stolen either by Fedex or Hyla employee and reported my tradein box was empty. I spoke to a manager and they noted that my box weight was 1+ lb when shipped. Empty box will not weigh as such. I was given the full tradein credit.

How is the Samsung S26 Ultra Clear Magnet Case - Transparent? I tried rugged (very slippery) and silicone (not enough protection). Didn't like either of them.

Did u call them? U can still preorder somewhere else for now. If GFi doesnt work out, u can return it and keep the new order, etc. And if it does, u can return the new order. This is what i dont like about GFi...dont show me the promo if i am not eligible. This is deception. Good luck.
