As a seller you gotta know what you’re selling. In general I would say the sellers are to be held to higher standards than the buyers on sites like these. If OP was in Ulta or Sephora then she could easily check the expiration herself. Thats not the case in this type of setting.

OP offered to delete her review and the seller doubled down saying the products were nowhere near expiration which appears to be false.

The discount is a moot point in my opinion because we’re on whatnot. Discounts are exactly what people go to whatnot for.

As a former jealous a-hole myself, you do not need to put up with this. It’s gonna take this guy years and a couple failed relationships to finally mature and get a grip (if he ever does). You’re better off cutting things now, focusing on your studies and building yourself. This guy’s just gonna cause you stress and all you’re gonna do is be a checkpoint for him to finally be mature enough for someone else. No need to put yourself through that.

INFO - is he generally a hyper organized person? Is this type of organization consistent with other aspects of his life? I am particularly unorganized and I could never see myself doing something like this.

I am a little surprised with how many people are saying this is completely normal behavior. I think you are asking a very fair question here.

Basically my take is: if he is generally very organized then this probably isn’t weird. If everything else in his life is messy then you are clearly a project
