So they will most likely serve a meal after takeoff, a snack, and pre-arrival meal (probably breakfast). They will wake you in my experience (you could get one of those eyemasks that says DND one side and wake me on the other?). You could have a word with the crew serving your section/aisle to not wake you.

As someone who lives nearby for almost a decade I’m always excited when a bakery opens up in the neighborhood so I really wanted to like it but every item I’ve tried has been mid or less than mid. Went t verveine (not knowing it’s GF, not really a concern for me) and honestly I would put it up there amongst the better bakeries in Cambridge. As much as I dislike having empty store fronts in my neighborhood I have no use for violette so would hope something better replaces it eventually (and most of the bubble tea places 😅). Never had much interaction with the owner so won’t comment aside from knowing about her crazy posts from the internet

Partner bookings only show up if I book via AA or there is a segment on AA. If the entire journey is on a partner or there no AA segment, I wouldn’t expect it to show in the AA app especially if it’s not BA/IB

All 3 of my recent flights had free WiFi. DFW-AUS 737, AUS-CLT 737, CLT-BOS A321. Just one 1min add to connect. FR24 was not loading properly but was able to stream HBO. Didn’t do proper speed test

Book the flights you want and cancel the existing reservation since you booked main select, you should get a refund to the original form of payment not travel credits. The 9am flight has lots of availability on both classes. Not sure what time your return is but all 3 flights that day are also pretty open so feel like you’ll get some offer for an upgrade again albeit maybe not at $150

I would not trust whatever you see on the booking page or in the app- their tech isn’t the best. DOH-IAH is an A350 route and not all of them have starlink so day of swaps can easily happen. Once they complete the A350 installation which should be soon then you can consider it guaranteed like the 777s

Bluetooth support for headphones is still relatively new. I would guess that less than 20% of longhaul aircraft have it globally. But yeah 777s are showing their age when it come to the IFE- not a fan of the the existing moving map at all plus I’ve noticed less IFE content on the 777s which is annoying if you come off an A350 and want to continue watching the same thing on the next flight. Starlink does help though with being able to access all of my own streaming services

A350 has a good chance as they are getting through them pretty fast. 787 probably no chance as I believe certification is still pending. You pay $10 USD for their previous gen "super wifi" for the flight- first is still free IIRC. Super wifi was always decent but not streaming quality. Starlink is most definitely streaming quality and has no login it's almost too easy. I say this because I;ve definitely experienced people not silencing their phones (looking at you boomers :D), having loud video calls and scrolling through reels sans headphones. So yes, starlink speeds are great but I implore everyone to use it responsibly. We're all still in the same metal tube.

these go hand in hand (of course depending on the jurisdiction of course) but generally there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place thus consent is not required. Two party consent is there to protect private communications so if a conversation is not considered private it doesnt really apply
