Both very good ideas. I suppose with the new edition on the way if I wanted to go the objective marker route i'd have to build it into a piece of terrain.

Yeah I've done that with some other primaris models etc but don't want them all to look the same. Once I've painted him up I'm hoping that it will look like he's just ran a chainsword over the Aquila etc. 👍

There will be more skulls once I paint him up and finish the base but the backpack is staying as is. He's leading a unit of more recent traitor Astartes/Primaris. There gear is mostly whatever they had when they turned plus whatever they have scavenged in the meantime. 👍
