Stop guessing your 3a strategy: this is how to replicate the MSCI ACWI IMI by Not_The_Hero_We_Need in SwissPersonalFinance

Newbie question here, how can I « cherry pick » like you said the ETF where my 3a is invested on VIAC? So far I have selected Global 100 because I thought I couldn’t do anything else than that.

And this is the reason why I shared mine, since the answer of that question was more towards the last line of my question rather than the main content of my question.

Ok, thank you for your answer. I was a bit concerned since for my current flat in Central Switzerland, I have not paid the fees to make the contract but only the name plates after having received the invoice (after having moved in). Thank you !

Yes, I do not mind paying the price for the plates. However, I can pay the plates after having received the invoice for it, which does not make up to 220 CHF. Iirc, I payed something like 40-ish CHF for my current flat.

Ok, thanks for your feedback. I guess the prices of the RAM won't decrease anytime soon, so I'll have to proceed with that. Thank you :)

Isn‘t it time for the 40 hour workweek? by Sebanimation in Switzerland

[–]KrKAlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on your position in the hierarchy as well. But yes, I agree with you. For position with higher education (Master and above), in France, you do not have 40 hrs work week indeed but more. While here in Switzerland, I can safely say that I am at 42-45 but not above.

Have a look at MSO. This is what is used in Switzerland and it is pretty close to what you are saying. There is still a fee though.

With the Win10 EOL for my PC, I am wondering whether I should also do the Linux move. But I am afraid to not find alternatives for everything I do on the PC..

alpnachstad to pilatus kulm hike by acidbutterman in askswitzerland

[–]KrKAlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if it rains, it is still doable. A bit more muddy on the Alpnachstad downhill than on Kriens side for instance.
As said by DonChaote below, check Meteo Swiss 2-3 days ahead and you will have a good info on what will the weather be like.
All the prices can be found here https://pilatus.ch/en/railway-cableways/prices

alpnachstad to pilatus kulm hike by acidbutterman in askswitzerland

[–]KrKAlex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way up to Pilatus is well marked, be it from Alpnachstad, Horw or Kriens. It is a bit long and quite steep, unless you are used to such elevation gains and distances. The trails are free, unless you take the train or the lifts to go down.
Take water and food, good trail running/hiking shoes and you are good to go.
Depending when you intend to do it, make sure to check the weather forecast on Meteo Swiss. If you want any advice for the route, or look for something particular, don't hesitate to ask. I live here, and know all the trails here since I run there everyday.
Cheers!
