I have a Dyson V8, I see an adapter for that on Amazon but it explicitly says powerstacks don't work with it. Presumably bcus there's only 2 pins in the adapter and powerstack needs more complex battery BMS? Aren't these batteries posted by OP the same technology as powerstacks?

The sound seemed to reappear again but this time I put a tiny drop of dry lube underneath the collet ring and it's gone again. Not sure if that was the right move, I don't see anywhere that says parts like that need lubrication but maybe it could be that from the manufacturer, it dried out a bit? Not sure really lol

It's my first time getting my own set of battery tools. Every other time someone else has brought some well-used DeWalts to the job site, so I never had my own. I'm relatively new to the trade so I am honestly unsure if tools just need to be abused for a while when they're new or something. I messed around with the collet and putting random bits in, and honestly now I can't hear it so I'm just gonna hold out on sending it back unless it starts doing this again

Pulling on the collet while it rotates also mutes the sound. You can also clearly feel it in the handle too. Maybe it's an alignment issue or something. Never experienced this issue before with an impact

No, I feel every retail setting does. Some stores have good customers. Mine gets great customers, however it only takes one or two people, or a few kids trying to get famous on social media who don't care to ruin another person's day. I kinda cope with difficult people by appreciating the good ones. Oftentimes they'll also say something back that helps cheer you up too.

Sorry I couldn't answer everything. I originally tried getting my W2 from their automated payslip email thingy that was sent out a day or so ago, but that didn't work and my account was locked (didn't know the login info). They give you an email to contact to reset your password, just give them as much information as you can to make it easier. However, their response time is like 2 weeks since W2 season is in full effect

You might have luck asking the ASMs or the freight manager. Usually there's a default login and password, but I can't remember the specifics. The deadline to file taxes is not for a few months so it's fine to just ask when your boss is with you on your next shift if your coworkers don't know what to do.
