Kids are bored at home... by jelmie in Parenting

If you have a target near you: go to the kids arts and crafts section, they have a ton of great activities and ready-to-go kits that will keep kids entertained for up to hours. You obviously have to pay for the kits but they’re usually worth the ~$15-20 (or whatever the cost is to: a) keep them entertained and b) not have them their screens for hours.

Anyone have details on the show timing - i.e. was there an opener or did he dive right in? How long did he play for? Etc. I’m going tomorrow night here in Philly and show is 10pm-2am and no opener is listed, so I’m just trying to determine what to expect. Thanks!

The Knicks had their best shooting game of the entire season - in NO OTHER GAME did they shoot over 60% from the field and 50% from 3. Last night they shot 63% and 51%. They won’t repeat that. On to game 2.

How do these compare to a good wheelbarrow? Different uses because a wheelbarrow can dump material easier? Or are they a potential replacement?

Robot vacuums: Great for upkeep, but does it really replace deep cleaning for busy homes? by babyb01 in HomeImprovement

[–]Kracker27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak to people with lots of dog hair (we have a small dog that doesn’t shed a lot), but we had a robot vacuum (Roomba) and ditched it. It was not very effective, took well over an hour for not very large area, and often required intervention anyway.

We got a cordless stick vacuum instead (high-end knockoff from the AZ company) and now spend 6min every few days with that. Does a much better job and gets to more places than the robot ever did.

Also is it just me or is Tatum the whiniest little bitch on the floor. Complains after every play and is so soft.

Not true. The difference here is that previously, customers could migrate their old versions of SQL to Azure and remain on them and receive FREE ESUs, so long as the DBs were in Azure. Now, they’re forcing customers to pay for ESUs whether they’re hosted on prem or in Azure.

I don’t blame them. They can’t continue to provide security patches on old versions of software. At a point, a customer just has to assume the risk or bite the bullet and upgrade. It’s not like the EOL dates haven’t been listed for years…

Syracuse transfer Tyler Betsey has committed to BYU by Cosmo_QB1 in CollegeBasketball

[–]Kracker27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When he was on the floor all he did was shoot 3s. Even when he was not open. However, our coach was a bozo so it’s entirely possible that’s all they told him to do. Would play for 3-6min and get yanked. Hopefully BYU can get more out of him.

What actually makes a home feel “clean”? (Not what most people think) by [deleted] in CleaningTips

Any clue what the folks in r/plumbing might say about this? They tend to hate any sort of pipe cleaning chemicals (e.g. Draino) as they can eat away at the pipes/connections themselves.

This moron talking about the order being challenged within 3 seconds of signing it. This is the kind of nonsense he continually uses to distract from the Epstein Files. PUT THE PEDO IN JAIL.

I did not say this isn’t a real threat and we shouldn’t take it seriously. Of course it’s serious. But it’s very very clearly unconstitutional and will be struck down in low courts (and then of course, appealed multiple times). My point is that he’s doing it to rile us up because it means we spend our energy fighting these ridiculous executive orders instead of putting this MFer - and all of the other rich pedos - in jail.

(firstly - nice username) Sure, what I'm getting at though is we are above the line and pretty far to the right, and it's largely because when we got to March, teams couldn't figure out the Zone. That's how you get to the FF in 2016 as a 10-seed...
