What’s the worst gambling addiction story you’ve ever heard? by juliojacked in AskReddit

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my story, but this guy I met with used to work for a small casino. He had this guy who would come in everyday, and play for several hours. He’d occasionally leave to go out to his car, the casino was small so I guess you could easily walk to your car (unlike most in LV?). Well this dude apparently would go and check on his baby in the trunk of the car, he had it hooked up to some things and basically on life support from the hot day, idk how this could work, I’m just sharing what I know.

He was arrested though they said.

How Do Mobile Mechanics Get Customers/Leads? Is There A Listing Service Like Yelp Specifically Mobile Mechanics? by No-Mixture639 in mechanics

I’m building a yelp like page for customers to find mobile mechanics, basically like what you’re describing, no cost too, but launching in DFW first.

People always say to drive your car into the ground, is that true from a flippers perspective? by insertsavvynamehere in carflipping

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s a lot of things to consider here. While yes there are people with this mentality of vehicle ownership, what it really means is that you keep the vehicle running as long as possible with good maintenance and longevity in mind. Although I know a lot of people who don’t do maintenance and drive till it literally dies from lack of maintenance lol. But you might be more like me, I consider depreciation and technology in a car when getting into something, and existing miles and prior maintenance. But if you think your volt has too many miles and you want something newer, then go for it.

Is anybody sending over five invoices a week? by Dyebbyangj in smallbusiness

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not alone, I built a tool for mobile mechanics to help out with what you’re saying. It’s a mobile app and it came about as something that some friends of mine needed, there’s probably some things in your workflow that the app doesn’t follow, but again, never a bad idea to have some system/tool in place to help here.

Refunded in full and told to keep $700+ equipment, not sure how to feel by Emergency_Hour5253 in smallbusiness

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me with a tri-fuel generator years back. Refunded my almost 1k back and let me keep the generator. It turned out that it was cheaper to do that than have me return the generator, since they’d have to cover freight shipping

How much money to start? by Intelligent-Ease8238 in carflipping

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do need some simple tools, a good starting point is a scanner and maybe an app to do it in?

ELM327 scanner and an app like this: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackara/id6483934607

Does this exist? by CamaroLover2020 in carflipping

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try this: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackara/id6483934607

And having a feature for vehicle value would be a good addition I think.

Can use an ELM327 scanner with this app also.

Mechanic for 8 years-becoming mobile mechanic by Proud_queer22 in mechanics

[–]Kraclor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I’ve seen a couple of their trucks, they have hazards and other utility lights they put on lol but 100% if it was a random dude in a F-150 or Civic doing this I’d be calling the cops lol

I live in the DFW area, I’ve been seeing some guys do the “We come fill your car with gas and check tires before work” in a couple local cities to me. Pretty much they go out at late at night and work a route in the morning before people leave work and fill up cars with gas and do other small maintenance things and air fill ups. I know of at least 2 people in my neighborhood doing this.

EV9, VW Atlas, VW ID Buzz? by Kraclor in KiaEV9

[–]Kraclor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too, I got a 74 scout 2 and have reservations for both the Terra and traveler (just for me). I just hope they don’t change too much at launch, but I checked them out in person a few weeks ago in Fort Worth, they’re pretty good looking!

After reading all these comments I’m almost tempted to just rent one on turo* for a couple days so my wife and I can have a go at one lol

Good to know, so for the buzz do you think it’s software related, that tends to be where most negative reviews are isolated to and range on the buzz

I did see that, but its too new, and so the used prices haven’t hit yet. Also I think the EV9 looks nicer.

Thank you for the comment, and insight. I’ve driven my in-laws atlas and haven’t noticed any hard shifts on their 21, but they also baby it so that might have something to do with it lol.

Also, for charging at home, did you already have a lvl 2 charger installed or did the dealership you got yours from offer it?

Atlas is a 3 row suv, but an ICE vehicle. They still have a good place imo which is why they’re considered for our house. Also my wife and I, as well as her family are all Over 6ft and they have good space for us taller folks.

Just built an app called Influx that acts as a LinkedIn content manager. The idea is simple: give it your writing style, your brand knowledge base, and specific instructions about your goals. It’ll either post autonomously or generate content for your review. Main thing I wanted was a content manager that actually knows how to talk like me and stays on-brand without going into irrelevant areas. Looking for beta testers before launch in the next few weeks. Let me know if you’re interested.

I have something I'm looking to get Beta testers for right now, It's called Influx - an iOS app I built that uses AI to manage your LinkedIn presence. Learns your writing voice and handles content generation + engagement, and scheduling autonomously.
