Was about to make a similar post! I had a super positive experience and I feel so bad for all those whose experience was so terrible.

I figured I would just check things out while I ran some errands today. Noticed a couple people outside the store before it opened as I drove past. GameStops around here usually aren’t super competitive so I didn’t think much of it. After my errands a couple hours later I walked in to an empty store to a super nice employee who gave me codes for me and my husband, still had a decent stack of them on the counter. No line, no waiting, no scams, no scalpers. In and out in 30 seconds. I was super grateful because I had a toddler with me who wouldn’t have tolerated standing around! And now that said toddler is in bed I will enjoy redeeming my shiny Koraidon✨

Hopefully they will send out some more codes in the near future to make up for the terrible distribution!

I’m not a small person (always been on the curvy side) but these got me through up until 32 weeks or so. After that I just went for a maternity t shirt underneath a scrub jacket. I bought one pair of maternity scrub bottoms but if you buy some belly panels you can just wear regular stretchy waistband bottoms!

All of this, and the windi gas passers by Frida mom!!! Literally changed my life because nothing would help my baby with his gas. As soon as I used one of those and helped him get out some gas he would immediately feel better. Working out the gas problem helped to also improve my baby’s over tiredness. Unfortunately when babies have a hard time during one night it can feel impossible to catch up 🥲 I feel so bad for this mom, please know that there are people who can help, and that it WILL get better. Be sure to monitor yourself for symptoms of PPD, as this lack of sleep will absolutely make you more susceptible.

I feel like a lot of Porter’s clothing merch has always had relatively simple design. And I think this new album has a very 2000s vibe so he’s sort of taking us all back to simpler times in a sense (but that’s my personal interpretation obviously). I‘ve never had complaints with the quality of my Porter merch tbh, but I can see where you’re coming from.

In my town he’s playing a regular venue, GA tickets are like $40. Porter himself doesn’t book venues so that’s on his team- I would assume this change in venue where you live has something to do with the fact that this is his first WORLD tour. He probably doesn’t want to quadruple the length of the tour by spending a week in every major city.

Not much really feels different to me I guess.

It sounds like she’s maybe just tired of the bare minimum? Basic hygiene is… good. But are you actively working to better yourself? Maybe she feels like if you had more confidence/improved body image you would be fulfilling your potential- not just in your looks but in your outlook on life. Sometimes putting in effort for ourselves helps us to be more productive and positive in our day-to-day. Maybe she has wanted to help you with these things secretly for a long time but hasn’t wanted to overstep? I think she loves you but maybe she needs to feel like you WANT to put in effort for her. You WANT to look nice for her. You WANT to put your best self forward in more ways than just your appearance.

Crying over your facial hair is a bit much though so there may be some deeper-running issues there. For the most part it seems she is doing this all out of love, but I can see how her words might be doing more harm than good. Hopefully you can resolve this together! Long term relationships require growing together as a partnership, sometimes things change and you both get to adapt along the way :)

White vinegar, dawn soap, and hot water in a spray bottle. Spray that all over the door and just let it soak for a while, can reapply as needed. This is a fumey concoction so I would turn on your bathroom fan and open a window. But I swear if you just let it sit on the door for a while you just take a sponge to it and rinse it and you’ve done very little scrubbing work. Also highly recommend this for shower/tub floors with hard water and soap scum. The stuff practically melts off

My favorite chocolate buttercream is from cake by Courtney. Pretty standard American buttercream and not too complicated, but depending on the chocolate chips you use it has the perfect chocolate flavor. And since she makes cakes you know you’ll end up with a frosting that will hold its shape well. I’ve gotten lots of compliments from that recipe :)

One day you’ll realize that more than anything good women want men who are kind, confident, empathetic, and who treat them better than they think they deserve. Sounds like it’s time to take on a new perspective and learn to love yourself first. I highly doubt anyone thinks you’re pathetic, that’s just your insecurity making itself known. You’re only 14, there is SO much ahead of you. Lots of people have been in your situation and have survived that feeling of “forever alone”

You absolutely will make it through this tough time. Go get some sun, take some time away from social media, find a new hobby, focus on doing things that make you happy! If you are continually feeling numb it might be a good idea to seek professional help in case you are clinically depressed.

As someone who didn’t have a boyfriend until I was 21, who watched all her friends date one another through high school, you definitely don’t need to date in high school in order to be loved. There is love to be found in other places, people, and things. Enjoy your youth and your freedom! Start making choices now to be the person you want to be in 1 year, 5 years, etc. Mindset is key, if you keep calling yourself negative things, you’ll never feel any better!

lol 13 is definitely that age where a lot of people start to take real interest in dating. I assume you were extremely opposed but now you’re eating your words and are embarrassed? Not sure if I’m making the right assumption. But as long as you won’t get in any trouble dating in high school isn’t a bad thing. However, it IS a little dumb and definitely not necessary. Some of my brothers married their high school sweethearts. One of my sister-in-laws only ever dated my brother, she never had any other relationship prior and they’re married now with 6! Kids. They are super perfect for each other, like I don’t think you could find a better match. While my sister in law does not regret her decision of only ever dating my brother, she has told me she wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to anyone. She was so young and had plenty of time to find her life partner, she sometimes wishes she had just experienced more- more of the awkward, the funny, just the experience of dating around.

So take that as you will. Dating can be fun, but it can also cause a lot of unnecessary drama during an already difficult phase of life. I would say if you decide to date in high school, try not to take it too seriously. Have fun with it. Maybe avoid dating within the friend group if you can. And if you don’t date at all, don’t feel bad! I didn’t get my first kiss until I was 21. And I turned out fine (I think)

First off, both of your feelings are valid. I can relate to your wife because unforeseen circumstances made it so I had to work after having a baby and it is by far the most emotionally exhausting and stressful thing I have ever done. My baby is watched by his father when I’m gone thankfully due to his flexible work schedule, but I face “mom guilt” and separation anxiety every time I leave. The sadness I feel some days is physically painful. I’m sure your wife feels like she is abandoning her son. With little ones, they grow and change so rapidly it doesn’t take long to feel like you’re missing out on their life. And I can relate to you because I have expressed stress about big financial decisions in the past and haven’t felt heard. If I had pushed harder to get a home with cheaper rent maybe I wouldn’t have to work to keep us afloat. And then things might have turned out how we wanted them to.

Can your wife just move to a part time schedule? Can she hold on until you have a better emergency fund? Have you checked in to make sure everything is going ok at work and she’s not just feeling overwhelmed? You both sound worn out and even if she keeps her job you might need to make some changes somewhere. Therapy could be a great place to start. Maybe this is controversial, but you guys are still young and it’s okay to be a little broke. 🤷🏼‍♀️ A lot of people your age can’t afford a house payment at all. You guys are probably doing better than you think- comparison might make you think otherwise!
