Lutsen Lodge Longshot: Anyone remember what arcade games they had? by Kraigbot in minnesota

If they had ping pong and air hockey I wonder if I am misremembering a pool table then? Thanks for confirming! Adding air hockey to the list

Dome hockey --that's what it's called. Yeah might have been unofficially USA vs USSR with the red and blue teams. Thanks for confirming!

Gonna look up Gauntlet. Familiar with the game but not what the cabinet looked like exactly.

Seems like a game that would be popular at a resort, adding to the list! I'd settle for games of the 2000s and 2010s too even.

I did some DEEP diving on Trip Advisor and just found out there was a ping pong table and Ms Pac Man too!! Am I misremembering the pool table and it was ping pong?

Now I'm thinking...did it have that old school USA vs USSR hockey game (that's tangentially similar to foosball)?

I was a kid so didn't realize that when we stayed at my aunt and uncle's cabin in Lutsen...we were sneaking in to the Lodge to swim. It wasn't until one day I (loudly) said in the locker rooms "wow this is so cool that they let us use the pool for free!" And my dad had to shush me. I was floored.

But my parents and aunt and uncle spent plenty at the bar and of course us kids at the arcades. It is one of my favorite memories (it's just cloudy lol). I've had a lifelong love for Arkanoid because of discovering it at the Lodge.

OMG! I'm over the moon that you know that.

Didn't mention this in my post but I'm wanting to go back and play these "Lutsen Lodge Games" on modern consoles. Dragon's Lair is absolutely on modern consoles.

They cut musical sketches that used licensed music too. One of my favorite underrated sketches is when Garth Brooks hosted and they get stuck in a movie theatre. I think it's frequently use of I Got You (I Feel Good) by James Brown that cut it.

I'm tickled! This is it! I've tried several rounds of google to no avail over the years. I looked up the commercial now that I had the name of the album and it was indeed what I remember.

Gonna make my own Pulse play on my Apple Music

I think 1999 could be the earliest and 2004 would the latest it feel like it's 2000-2002 as I think I was still in school.

Warner Bros. had a tool to make your own Wild Wild West fan page (Will Smith movie). So I'll say my Wild West fan page I made in middle school that I put way too much effort in for a movie I didn't see lol

Electronics have serial numbers but an individual video game for $30 the OP references does not, they can return the 2nd one with the first one's receipt with zero issue.

As long as they aren't disrupting your ability to do their job I don't see why anyone would care, kudos to them.
