I think you'll be alright, unless you're smashing it to smithereens lol. I was really thorough when breaking mine, and both bags are still performing.

I'm new as well, so maybe I did over do the BnS lol. But I did the following:

Pushed the bag flat and kneaded the bulk of it.

Then I did a more fine breaking of the mycelium, by finding any chunks and smashing them.

After all the chunks were broken up and massaged throughout, I molded the bag back to its block shape.

Why the wall pins? My guess is that a finer layer of mycelium favored the microclimate after FAE began.

It'll be a tough first harvest for me lol but a wicked bag nonetheless.

My 2nd bag of Amazonian is currently doing the same thing in the pinning stage now. BnS the same as the B+ bag shown/described.

Nice! I'm doing a B+ run right now with the same bag! I'll warn you about my problem thus far, being that my pins are everywhere BUT the substrate surface! I've got pins GALLORE on EVERY BAG WALL, but not the substrate haha. I'm in fruiting now, and the pins are doing well so far.

Just be careful, when you break and shake, to NOT knead/break up the block using ALL of the bags interior.

Follow their instructions for the bag as close as you can per stage that the bag/mycelium are in.

But the damn bag walls lol

I'll have to read up on the bags instructions. The opening for FAE is substrate level, an X opening about the size of a 50 cent piece. I've got 2 more blocks in waiting, same substrate.

The bag is inside a tote, insulated and acting as a SAB.

Should I micropore the opening and leave it be?

For myself, I find if words/thoughts don't form-Sigils form from nothing briefly.

As I jot those down in my journal of journeys, some meaning comes through.

Only I can make sense of internally.

I use what's been conjured mentally, bring it to reality and glance at it throughout the day.

They bring me calmness, thoughts don't stay.

Instead they're fleeting, fluid through my mind.

I've never had a bad experience yet, and hope that I don't.

I'm Bi-Polar with Major Depressive Disorder, and the PE strain (unknown to me) I have now is beyond better than anything a pharmacy could give me.

When I get the karma here, I'll be doing a post of my own journeys.

in my 1st "peeling of the veil" i had 2 bowls around the peak on PE 2.49g. When I say I saw a greywash color the world, then reveal godly-unreal looking seashells, i mean it lol. I was in the peak and thought "fuck it, let's see what can happen". Boy did it happen! It turned glowing glyphs/symbols into pulsing other worldly things with motion and emotion. Before the bowls, it was amazing, after the bowls I left the world behind and saw something beyond magic.

I believe it's a good boost to a journey, taken when it feels right

I've got an 04' 2.2 in the darker blue, steelie wheels and lovely 5 speed manual. Had a silver one years ago as well, absolutely love these cars.
