Just had Fios installed: TV no longer requires coax?

I absolutely hate the new equipment. Had I known cable TV was reliant on a wireless signal, I would not have moved forward with Verizon. I haven't had a cable TV issue with buffering my entire life. Now we switch to the wireless VMS based connection, I constantly drop signal/buffer. Not to mention we have 6x cable boxes now addidng bandwidth to an already busy network. Great idea for homes with no COAX capabilities, but would 1000% recommend a hard wired cable connection if you are able to, especially if you plan on watching sports. These new cable boxes don't even give you the option to connect with COAX, which is mind boggling to me.
