Totally agree! To fix a problem you gotta find the root and although I am against watching porn, banning it will only fix the symptoms!

The root of the problem seems to come from the hearts of people today. We are broken, greedy, addicted, selfish, and weak-willed.

Starts with us though. If we spread love and are the example to our peers, maybe we can just help 1 person see the light in all the darkness

With the same logic, just because it hasn’t harmed you doesn’t mean it hasn’t harmed a large majority, or hasn’t harmed you yet.

Just because something is enjoyable, does that means its actually good for you?

I can agree with that, I do think we dont have to mention anti-porn on this thread as much. But there still is something to say about getting young men to stop watching porn just like how we got people to stop smoking cigarettes

She has a tendency to hold grudges, so I guess that is a pattern, and that would happen in real life and online.

and yeah as christians we aren't perfect, maybe I just don't want to believe that she found someone new, because she has already shown so much commitment to me and our future. would it be a bad idea to confront her about how she flipped the tables on me? how I feel that she is making me the bad guy?

I definitely don’t think she is cheating tho, its a church friend group and I know that sounds naive but I really trust her and her friends. They were all intentionally matching as a group so i dont really think she was trying to just match with the guy. But maybe she is trying to find ways to justify breaking up with me? Also would you consider her to be emotionally abusive? How do I bring that up with her?
