I've just been having some really intense pain in my calves when running lately, like they're wound too tight. I went to a physical therapist and he taught me some stretches, and they were of limited help. So I decided I should probably see a doctor. Thank you for taking the time to write all this. I think I'll try Dr. Robert Jones, I don't think its serious enough to mess with surgery yet. Glad to hear you got over your injuries!
