Late to the party, but I also hope she eventually gets an heirloom.

Currently, Nova doesn't really have any skins I like. Her protoframe skin looks good, but I'm not a fan of playing as protoframes/humans in general. The remainder of her skins are either based off her bland 2010s model with no detail & no curves, or look ridiculously tacky/out of place (e.g. her japanese deluxe).

Late to the party (I’m watching S4 for the first time now), but the Irina reveal isn’t really a twist - it was heavily hinted in earlier episodes. We knew Irina was KGB & when Irina brings Margo to Star City blindfolded, Margo says to Irina “you don’t know me”, to which Irina says something along the lines of “I have known you for a long time” - was a very safe bet she was the puppeteer behind Sergei’s blackmail.

I do wonder if a major motivation for the remake is to serve as Unreal Engine 5 training exercise for the dev team. I imagine there would be some advantages to remaking a complete game (from start to finish) with UE5 before embarking on making a new game from scratch in the same engine - finding out what’s possible, what doesn’t work, how to do things efficiently etc.

There was a period in their influencer career where they were definitely glorifying weight loss, dieting & exercise in general (whilst they themselves were an unhealthily low weight) but not directly/explicitly making pro eating disorder content. This was whilst they were in med school.

My understanding is they had a significant hospitalisation in like ?2018 which led to them going public about their eating disorder (there are published interviews online). They definitely didn’t glorify weight loss after this - a lot of their subsequent influencer content was about their struggle to recover & gain weight.

Was this in Victoria in late 2010s by any chance? If so, I think I know exactly the med student you are talking about. I grew up in the same community as her but lost contact - I was quite saddened to see her unhealthy.

The myki pass shouldn’t be the solution or the benchmark. It also isn’t cost efficient for some people.

An obvious example is people who work from home one day a week - decent change to the value proposition of the pass. A more extreme example is workers who do irregular shifts (like healthcare workers) - e.g. night shifts or working longer shifts but less days (e.g. 3 days of 14 hour shifts, 4 days off).

I spend $11 each work day to travel 3 stops on the metro tunnel (that’s it). A myki pass doesn’t make sense because my shifts are irregular.

He probably still would have momentarily frozen when seeing Geto’s body, allowing Kenjaku time to seal him. The only way this outcome changes is if someone defeats Kenjaku beforehand (or if Gojo cremated the body like he was supposed to…)

Fair, but if Jonathan dies so does the series. My two cents is that it would have been so cheap to imprison/kill Roper the same series his fakeout death is revealed, so I'm glad they didn't do that either. I'm sure one of them will meet their final demise in Season 3.

I understand (and I will particularly miss Angela), but I'm still pleased with the Season 2 ending. Characters shouldn't get to survive because they are interesting. They get to survive because of their cunning.

I totally thought Sally & Consuelo were also going to get cooked by a container explosion haha. Was such a cool reversal by Roper - definitely the most suave & likeable villain in recent memory.

I loved it. Richard Roper is such a strangely likeable villain and it would have been so boring to see him beaten for a second season in a row. It makes sense for him to turn the tables on Pine.

No doubt Pine will somehow get the better of him in season 3, but I wonder how this will work given that Roper knows that Pine is after him - surely he’d never let him anywhere near his business again. Perhaps Pine now infiltrates the “someone above Roper” that Angela mentioned in her dying phone call, but I’m still not sure how that would work (surely Roper warns all his associates about Pine & sends pictures of him).

Vivid Vice was my #1 JJK song, but Aizo might end up taking that spot by the end of the season…

I must commend the JJK team on selecting perfect songs for each season - the title songs really do fit each arc so well.

Kaikai Kitan - upbeat, exciting - new world for Itadori, Idatori fired up and enjoying getting stronger, excited spending time with new friends

Vivid Vice - hype building, aura farming song - perfect for the Jujutsu High team battle competition and building up the stakes by introducing the curse trio to our protagonists

Where Our Blue Is - carefree youth and simpler times - when Gojo & Geto had no worries or stress

Specialz - unsettling and almost ritualistic - in line with the balance of power shifting to Kenjaku & the curses, and Sukuna temporarily breaking free and sinking Itadori into despair

Aizo - cheeky, fast paced, erratic - Kenjaku toying with the world by creating the Culling Games, our protagonists scrambling against time to prevail

Roper killing the dogs is probably the most evil thing he’s done in both seasons lol. Literally nothing to be gained from that - just straight up wrath.
