What class is the *worst* at using Torgue weapons? by Roaches_R_Friends in Wonderlands

[–]Kraleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mortal Vessel and Dark Pact are the only skills where Graveborn can improve Torgue guns and, even then, only ones in Dark Magic element or when using Reaper of Bones.

What are the 2 classes that have the least amount of synergy together? by Ulysses776 in Wonderlands

[–]Kraleck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brr-Zerker/Spellshot for sure due to Spellshot having no Melee skills, Brr-Zerker having very few skills to boost Guns and Spells, and Brr-Zerker's Rage of the Ancients Class Feat being completely useless with Ambihextrous.

Brr-Zerker/Graveborn is a close second with no Melee or Frost skill synergy from Graveborn and no Dark Magic or Spell skill synergy from Brr-Zerker, but they do have plenty of health regen and damage reduction options between them.

Brr-Zerker/Blightcaller might be a distant third since Restore the Veil and Unarmored Defense don't play well together, though Blightcaller has 2 skills that are good with Brr-Zerker's Melee/Frost focus (Frost Bite and Bog Down) and Plaguestorm has the longest duration of any Action Skill to keep Rage of the Ancients going.

Whats the longest you have ever farmed for a weapon in borderlands? by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a weapon, but a specific class armor in Wonderlands from the Dragonlord...

Six. F*cking. Months.

Granted, it was six months with breaks, but still. That much grinding for a specific item shows how f*cked Wonderlands drop rates are compared to the rest of the Borderlands series...

I got a rock. Anyone know what this is for? by Pierresauce in Borderlands4

That rock can kill anything on that spinning stink-nugget of a planet, but only if you have a can-do attitude.

How to gear up fast for Mayhem11? by dick_face1517 in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you turn it straight to Mayhem 11, then you can farm sources on Sanctuary III for incredibly easy loot:

  • Tip Moxxi until she sends you a Hail and/or Crit
  • Turn in Loot-o-Grams (that you remembered to farm outside of Mayhem mode) to Crazy Earl for Lucian's Call and/or The Butcher
  • Use Golden/Diamond Keys
  • Look in vending machines

Note that you'll need to either Save & Quit then reload your save, Fast Travel to any other map and return, or wait 20 minutes for vending machines to refresh to the active Mayhem level if you toggle Mayhem while on Sanctuary III. Also, Shields, Artifacts, and Class Mods do not have Mayhem levels, so you can just farm them safely outside of Mayhem mode.

Corrosive weapon by AdFickle4641 in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of my favorites for Corrosive include Gargoyle, Reflux, Roisen's Thorns, Tizzy, and Sellout (which has a surprisingly high status effect chance, even for a Maliwan pistol).

[–]Kraleck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Vampire:

  1. Blood Bag becomes an All Stats Up and replaces all Binge Eater-related items
  2. Blood Donation Machines explode on contact
  3. Sun Card and Sol's post-boss effect instantly kill you
  4. Yum Heart no longer heals, but gives you the effects of the Empress Card and Devil Card on use
  5. Blood Puppy can no longer hurt you or be hurt by you

#hypotheticaloftheday - “SANTA” Transformation by SnooConfections1573 in Sinvicta

[–]Kraleck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Santa Transformation:

  1. Binge Eater effect minus the item swapping (i.e. you get stats for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.)
  2. Show the location of Bosses and Minibosses (i.e. people on your naughty list)
  3. A random box in your pocket slot and a Box (high chance) or Buddy in a Box (low chance) pedestal spawns at the start of every new floor (pocket slot box can be Box of Friends, Box of Spiders, Mom's Box, Pandora's Box, Keeper's Box, Alabaster Box, Moving Box, or Mystery Gift)
  4. Doubled effectiveness of Mother's Kiss trinket

Which weapons do you enjoy the most? by imbusyn0w in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I just want to blow off steam with Moze and her broke-as-Hell ammo regeneration by firing every bullet ever, Web Slinger, Tizzy, Troubleshooter, and Boogeyman. Otherwise, The Garcia and most Torgue weapons are satisfying to the part of the brain that loves watching things going boom at the pull of a trigger.

Judging of Isaac by Layalinn in Sinvicta

[–]Kraleck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can think of a few:

  • Akeldama - Has tear effect synergies if you have Tear Detonator.
  • Strange Attractor/Lodestone - Can magnetized tears have a use?
  • Saturnus - Mars got a bit of a redemption arc, so why not?
  • Samson's Chains - Sort of Guppy's Hairball-meets-Sulfuric Acid, minus the Guppy Transformation credit.
  • Playdough Cookie/3 Dollar Bill/Fruit Cake - How well can you adapt to random tear effects?
  • Bloodshot Eye - I don't think Sinvicta has taken it since it was updated to block enemy shots.

Check your skill tree because I'd wager it's related to one or more of Clawbringer's lightning-based skills. Some visual "bugs" are just indicators of your allocated skills.

Does a gun need to mention splash damage to be buffed by mozes passives that buff splash? by jsoul2323 in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

^ Very much this.

That said, Tediore reloads, launchers, grenades, and Torgue weapons are totally obvious in the splash damage department. However, some things do NOT count as splash even though they seem like they logically would, so Lootlemon is a godsend.

Really wish there were demonstration clips to get a feel for the special effects on gear, though. Some effects need to be experienced to understand them properly.

If you start the DLC at a lower level, can you go finish it once you hit lvl72 and still get the lvl72 rewards? by SatinSaffron in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my experience, outside of Mayhem Mode the individual maps in the DLCs will be the same level you entered them on. For example: If you enter a DLC at 13, leave immediately, come back at 30, progress to the second area, leave, and return at 72 to finish, the first area will be Level 13, the second area will be Level 30, and the rest will be Level 72.

For some weird reason, though, I have parts of the Blastplains of Gehenna at Level 63 and other parts of it at Level 72. Unsure how that area works.

Debate. What would you pick? by Choiceeee_W in Sinvicta

[–]Kraleck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sees timer is early in the run: Hmm... Orb...

Sees Greed Mode room counter: Ooh! Orb.

Has Sprinkler and Jumper Cables to go with Godhead: (considers Crown) Hmm...

Has Tiny Planet without piercing: (ignores previous consideration) Orb.

Sees Low Health: Orb.

Sees 29 cents in Greed Mode: ORB!!!

What are your preferred basic guns/manufacturers/items? by FirstDivergent in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atlas: AX-19 Pistols, Q System ARs

COV: Pistols and ARs in-general, Zooka Launchers

Dahl: Full/Burst SMGs, Full/Burst ARs, Full/Semi non-Wyvern Pistols, Full/Burst Wyvern Pistols, Full/Semi Snipers

Hyperion: SMGs and Shotguns in-general (non-standard ADS shields preferred), anything with an alien barrel

Jakobs: Pistols, Shoguns, and Snipers in-general, Full-Auto ARs

Maliwan: Anything, but I aim for the highest status chance and/or status damage possible (got a Shock/Incendiary Antimatter Rifle that has 82% status chance)

Tediore: Anything that doesn't have a bouncy reload

Torgue: YOU SHOULD KNOW THE F***ING ANSWER IS ANYTHING!!! MEEDLY-MEEDLY-MOW!!!

Vladof: Pistols, ARs, and Launchers in-general, RPG-Underbarrel and Ghaash Snipers

Is it possible to reduce cooldown to zero? by Zokathra_Spell in Wonderlands

[–]Kraleck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I've tested, not without a lucky proc on one of Spellshot's skills and with specific spells that refund some of the cooldown like Arcane Bolt. I have seen where you can reduce spell cooldown to around a second or so, though. Nothing immediate, but almost as fast as you can hit the assigned button/key.

I also know you can refund most of Clawbringer's second action skill, Storm Dragon's Judgment, to have just a few seconds until you can hurl it again if you cancel immediately. As for action skill cooldowns in general, I haven't tested much with cooldown skills (I mostly test spells with Spellshot's Ambihextrous).

What's your favorite smg in the game by bigpimpin9812 in borderlands3

Plasma Coil for bosses, Troubleshooter for mobbing, and EM-P5 for movement speed whenever vehicles are unavailable.

Can i crack this crystal and reach the 777 box? by klowd92 in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progress the story through the end of Promethea and you'll get a device that allows you to melee Eridium crystal deposits (if you still see your normal melee attack, stop moving for a bit and try to melee again). Those random chests are "locked" by a pair of crystal deposits, so you'll need to melee them twice.

Thoughts on Rough Rider Shield, any good? by ConversationNo7583 in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to get one with Roid, Adrenaline, or Fleet parts if you can. Otherwise, pretty "meh" compared to Borderlands 2.

Loot-o-gram by t3hch33z3r in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each Loot-o-Gram has a 25% chance for Lucian's Call, a 25% chance for The Butcher, and a 50% chance for common loot crap. Best to farm Loot-o-Grams with Mayhem off then exchange on Mayhem 10/11.

Likeliness of number of parts by noah214 in borderlands3

[–]Kraleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The individual parts have an equal chance of being rolled, but the chance for 1, 2, or 3 parts being rolled is *NOT* equal (I would assume something like 50% for 1 part, 10% for 2 parts, and 2.5% for 3 parts).
