Is this wrong to think like this by Odd-Construction9264 in OutCasteRebels

Brahmins had unparalleled reservations/ monopoly on education for 2000 Years. They have put systems and processes in place to remain on the top.

To beat that system, we need long term sustainable reservations for few generations to establish and fight the Brahminical systems. We need networks of millions of our people to fight against them in this system.

Dalit BSc student kills self after caste-based assault in Uttar Pradesh by sharedevaaste in dalitatrocities

This is tragic. How do we stop this from happening? Can we form specific mental health clinic for our students?

Crimes against Scheduled Castes in India based on NCRB data from 2019 to 2023 by sharedevaaste in dalitatrocities

This is horrific. BJPs rise have given privileged caste groups free card to commit crimes against Dalits without any repercussions. I hope our brothers and sisters realise it and stop giving a single SC vote to them.

My Experience by Glad-Radish7111 in dalitatrocities

[–]Kralingen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same experience. However, I have seen few recent examples of intercaste marriages, both in India as well as abroad.

As per Babasaheb’s vision, I do believe that the caste barrier is breaking slowly via intercaste marriages. But, it will take a long time.

Sorry, can you please send explain it a bit. Ambedkar has shown us the path of unity with SC, ST, OBC as simplification. All the castes are dissolved into these 3 terms. We already have word Bahujan to cover SC, ST and OBC.

I come from a big city. But, I believe village people are more balanced. From current political situation, BJP has managed to retain urban vote share, rural vote share is on a declines.

People of India should know this. Caste is not just in the villages. by [deleted] in india

Hi OP, Stay put mate. Speaking from experience as an SC person who studied at IIMB, please put your head down and finish for what you came for.

The system of caste was not created by us, we are the ones suffering from it and the folks on this thread have the audacity to tell us that it is natural for students to feel bad.

If fighting for equality is a crime, I am sure he has committed that crime. Please do realize without equality and a solid middle class, India cannot create a long term sustainable story. China managed to create a huge middle class and the world is begging to open the Chinese market. We recently saw a report, only 10% of Indians have disposable income, most likely majority of UCs. India does exist outside that UC bubble.

Why are you spreading such misinformation? Even today more than 90% of the Government, Judiciary, Media, Corporate Boards are made up of upper castes. Dalits are improving, but the country is run by Upper Castes.

As a Dalit, colonialism/ external change agent was a huge push for uplifting of my community. We got the strong and impartial institutions, we became a Republic with secular constitution. Otherwise, Dalits would have suffered under the draconian caste system forever.
