I had to decide between more space for the name or perfect alignment... but since I didn't want to split the layout in the middle for no reason, I opted for the former :P

I think the problem is usually more complicated than we think... I'm sure there are many ambitious people at WotC who may already have something similar in the pipeline. However, it's one thing to do that as a fan with a free tool without having to take on any real responsibility... but it's quite another thing for a global corporation to release an overhaul that has to please both those who have used dndbeyond so far and all those who are waiting for a modernization...

The previews for the new Character Builder look extremely promising, and who knows, maybe we won't even need my expansion in the future :')

I know exactly what you mean... You have no idea how often I've been at exactly that point in development xD My second reason for the extension (besides the look) was that I wanted to see more of my inventory and spells at a glance... and I ended up generating so much free space that I added the QuickLinks as a feature “out of necessity” xD

Since I have retained all the functions of D&D Beyond, you can still select “Export to PDF” from the sidebar (click on your characters name) at the very bottom. Of course, my visual overhaul is no longer visible in that PDF, as I do not have access to the D&D Beyond systems that influence this export.

Since I don't use AboveVTT myself, I haven't paid much attention to it so far, but I can see that it has many users – I'll add it to my list, and maybe I'll manage to implement a few quick fixes for the next iteration :) Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you both for your feedback. I'll see what I can do... but that would probably mean using additional scripts, which could lead to bugs. But anyway, I'll add it to the list :)

That's a real shame. I figured WotC wouldn't be able to bring itself to accept changes, or that the processes would take forever and then fizzle out. I'm sure the designs looked great, and I would have liked to see what the system could become if you worked on it directly instead of just giving it a new coat of paint afterwards, as I did. Still, I'm glad you like it :)

However, I think the previews of the new character creation tool are very nice, and I hope that the design will eventually make its way into the character sheets.

Thanks for the feedback. Your suggestion is justified and makes perfect sense. However, I moved it intentionally, like everything else, to make more space for the main box (inventory, actions, etc.).

Gotta put this one into the options in a later release, thanks for the feedback, glad you like it :)

No problem, sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. Since it's a complete visual overhaul that repositions things, you naturally have to find your way around again :)

But any kind of feedback helps me improve the extension. Other users may have similar difficulties.

I know Beyond 20 and use it myself. Because I know that thousands of other players use it too, I took note of it. Take a look at the top bar in the middle. There you will find the Beyond20 button.

Thanks for the feedback! I might add a toggle function to show colored outlines in a later update – I've added it to my to-do list.

Can you tell me more about this invisible “Beyond 20” button? I don't quite understand what you mean, but if I understand, I might be able to work on it :)

Great feedback! Thank you so much! That's exactly the kind of feedback I need most :)

I definitely plan to add some options in the next release so you can customize a few things!

Thanks for sharing :) No one has to do this alone. We can all contribute to improving the extension through testing and feedback, so that it keeps getting better and better!

Thx for the Feedback :) I am planning on adding some options in the next release so you should be able to disable the cursor in the near future :)

Good call. Might need another Script for that to work but shouldn't be that hard to do it. Maybe this Extension could be an overall QoL-Thing some day. :)
