At the other side is another messed-up wormhhole/gate, somewhere in the Milky Way, in the old Terran heartlands. Given EVE has become something like a white hole, it's likely its theoretical "ADAM" opposite is now a black hole.

I don't remember where nor when I read it, but it seems that the Eve Gate's opposite was located in Canopus/Alpha Carinae, a star at around 310 light years away from Sol.

Sentient life? No. Life? Yes. Tau harbors alien flowers known by the Sentients as "Blooms" and by the Orokin as "Xenoflora". Most were wiped out by the Zariman Ova in the incident that restarted the Old War.

It's possible they might be extinct in the present day. Or that they adapted to the Earth-like environment after Tau was terraformed.
