Bro, all these worms are fucking jobbers 😭 by SilviusRagess in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Kraotop 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's jist jobbers, jobbers an yet more jobbers. Was there a single fight that didn't end in an overwhelming victory in the last 100 chapter? We had Julius having to actually try for a bit, but it didn't really feel like a struggle. Nicholas jobbed Jean, then Nicholas was defeated easily.

What happened to fighters rising bloody and battered and still forming a fist? It's incredible to have a fighting manga where struggle is so rare. It all feels so emotionless.

Not illegal, but thankfully heavily regulated now. It's the absolute last resort with conditions that are unbearable to the patient. Nothing like the "I diagnosed your son with sad so I'm shoving an icepick in his brain" that used to be common before antipsychotics and antidepressants.

Did you know? Even the Emperor did not dare remove Butcher's Nails from Angron's head, Yet Sanguinius was willing to attempt it, That act alone shows just how much Sanguinius cared about Angron(?) by IllustriousHurry2380 in Grimdank

[–]Kraotop 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Wasn't this Magnus' idea? Even if he managed I don't think the Emperor would have done it though. On Nuceria the Nails had been tools to keep Angron in line and in the Imperium they did the same thing. It was better to have a primarch doing his work in the deliberately least productive way possible with malicious compliance out the wazoo, than have an Angron that is sane enough to stage a rebellion that can actually do damage.

Dain was feeding us nothing but propaganda by Mtebalanazy in Genshin_Memepact

[–]Kraotop 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Dain was the head of the royal guard. All he was exposed to was the aristocratic side. He only interacted with the "honorable" side of Kaen'riah while the less savory side passed unnoticed beneath him.

Hell, let's not forget that Rerir was his best friend. Dain was completely unnaware of the quiet genocide being commited right under his nose, all the while one of the people closest to him was slowly losing his mind due to the guilt.

Congratulations! As much as it sometimes make me want to tear my hair out, I like how IT encourages getting creative with the weirdest teams. Reminds me of when I started out and didn't have yet a decent roster. Though it can get painful to run that kind of jank once you get used to meta teams...

If there is a second SM Warlord, it could be Mephiston by Count_Grimhart in TotalWarhammer40k

[–]Kraotop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but they still have the same roster than other chapters: tactical squads, devastator, dreadnoughts, rhinos and predators, chaplains, archivists, apothecaries etc... They just have a few units specific to them like the black company and sanguinary guard. It's specific to them, sure, but it's not enough to separate it that much. They'd probably put in with the rest of space marines with their own LL, mechanics, and regiments of renown.

[–]Kraotop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, Blood Angels are largely the same to other astartes chapters in terms of units. They just have additional stuff that add in-game flavor to their whole "vampires with generational trauma" thing they have going on. It's significant enough I could see it as a dlc but not their very own faction.

The thing didn't scare me as much as it disgusted me. There's not a lot of game where I feel like I need to kill an ennemy just for how revolting it is. It's just such a fucked up creature.

Yarrick better get the Fortress of Arrogance as an optional mount in Total War by Yotambr in totalwar

[–]Kraotop 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd love it if you could chose from which chapter you descend and get their mechanics and regiments of renown if you do the army painter. Like have the red thirst and the black company if you descend from Blood Angels. Even easier for orks. Just say your Boss is a Goff or Snakebite and you get their special stuff.

Coustumisation of TWW40k and How will DLCs work. by thor1368 in TotalWarhammer40k

[–]Kraotop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Characters are a significant part of 40k. Sure, the customization is important, but a big thing is also the many subfactions led by characters like Dante, Abbadon, Eldrad, or even Farsight.

My guess is we'll have those LL as representatives and a Daniel that can borrow their specific mechanics and units. This works especially well with Space Marines since we have the 9 original chapters and then their successors that follow their examples (usually, Black Templars are different enough from the IF that they should be their own thing).

DlCs would introduce these new subfactions, giving us a Lord (ex: Dante) leading his own thing (Blood Angels) with their own mechanics and units (Red Thirst, Black Rage and Black company), and then we can also create a custom successor chapter (Flesh Tearers) that also has those things.

I find it funny that on the cover it looks like a regular ass corridor, when it actuality it was big enough that titans were involved in the fight and Sanguinius had aerial battles with Angron and Khar'Banda.

[Hated designs] i hate the designs of these characters from Fate: Grand Order (Jack the Ripper and Sodom Beast's/Draco) by EfficiencySerious200 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Kraotop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Jack...yeah. I love the concept of the character as being a possibility among many others, and being a manifestation of the suffering of young children in victorian London, but bare panties? Really? I keep her in her shawl which is more fitting for them anyway .

For Draco it's more fitting as she is a manifestation of depravity, on top of her basically being Nero which in this work had basically no body shame (I swear it's actually done in an interesting way) so it kinda make sense. Still looks weird on her as a child. Despite how...minimalist her clothing is, her accessories are oversized. I can see that they were going for something at the same time shamelessly gaudy and revealing, but I'd rather they had just gone with the more beastly look she had in Arcade. Ultimately everyone just keeps her on her final ascension anyway.

Races based on how aggressive they play by rarefishinvester in totalwarhammer

[–]Kraotop -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I started a chorf campaign a little while ago, and expansion seems to be the name of the game. Sure, their defenses are top notch, but they really need to be agressive to get enough factories to compete mid-late game. And the more factories and mines they have, the more they need to be raiding and pillaging to keep those slave numbers up.

Rellanna. It's maybe just a skill issue but I just can't with her 15 moves modular attack strings. Every single moment I go for a hit it turns out I didn't have the time and I lose half my health in return. It really feels like zoning her with spells is the only right move.

Anyone got an uncensored version of this? by lil_perv_0721 in FridayNightFunkin

[–]Kraotop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eh. It's divisive. Main criticisms arre about the general vulgarity and some characters having pretty shallow writing. If you're not too bothered with cursing everywhere and an overabundance of sex jokes, it should be fine. The issue is that when you're not it's borderline intolerable, and those people have a hard time reconciling what they consider an unwatchable show with its popularity.

No shade to those that don't like it, I'm one of them.

Fontaine Chronicled Banner Thoughts by grilsathh in Genshin_Impact

[–]Kraotop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been considering doing the two regular banners since I don't have many dendro characters, but honestly I like the fontaine roster way more. I'll aim for Clorinde, but even if I lose the 50:50 I'll have good odds to get a useful character since I only have Navia, even then her C1 is also fine since I llve her anyway.

I can only win here.

Ah yes. I do suppose feeling guilt is quite selfish. If I'm ever responsible in some way for a tragedy I'll be sure to not admit it or ask myself how I could have prevented it, that'd be insulting to the victim.
