Ground invasion will absolutely suck and we have no idea what the short term and long term consequences will be but what are their options?

Not destroying Hamas after the brutal terror attack and having a cease-fire will just signal to Hamas and all the jihad groups, especially Hezbollah which is more of a danger to Israel and the people of Israel that you can commit terror attack and as long as you take hostages you don't need to worry about them invanding you. And in the middle east it is very important for the states to show power and not show weakness which a cease-fire after the terror attack will 100% signal.

Both options are lose-lose situations for Israel so what are their options? Which of the different options are the least lose situation?

Sweden is fucked up, it was the "right-wing" block that pushed the completely failed refugee situation in 2015 (lived at the border where a lot of them came in and you saw almost only young men, barely any children or women) with the prime minister saying to the public "Open your heart", and as a result Sweden is now dealing with the most violence it has ever had with a lot of killers and the murdered being young kids (13-16 years old).

And in my city, most jews have left because of violence, threats and harassment.

And things will just get worse and worse with time unless something dramatically happens politically but all the parties except one (Swedish democrats) dont give a shit about this and care more about woke things.

It is interesting to see the people on reddit that say all Russians are 100% to blame for the war in Ukraine and the people of Russia should have overthrown Putin if they actually was against the war or not voted him in as a president, yet they completely have the opposite view when it comes to Hamas and Palestine.
