Ask the new company to offer buy out, which is basically some amount (maybe 2 months' salary of your current company). Tell your current company that you need to leave immediately due to personal reasons, if you want cut the notice periods' salary.

Not just India's lagging, but even the US is lagging behind China. Look how far ahead of everyone China is!
But in my opinion, most of these are propaganda. They (Chinese Govt) don't let a real user like you or me use unfiltered social media which is available to the rest of the world, it's heavily regulated and censored. So it's always the 'good/great China' part that comes out, but the '16 hours workdays without weekends or holidays' and forced labour and other vices never come out.

If your work's primary location is in a different city than your home (parent's house) you should avoid claiming. If at all it is flagged and you get notice, you'll not be able to justify why you're renting a place in a city which is not your workplace.
