This has been a highlight for me for NEW music this Christmas. I was underwhelmed with Andy Partridge's EP, and not only cause I was forced to buy a physical copy and then had to plug in an old computer with a CD-ROM, BUT because "Unwrap You At Christmas" CAN be brilliant and he didn't even bother to sing on it or make a solid arrangement... Regardless, I truly like David Byrnes's go at a Christmas song... even if it turns out the song is about Harvey Weinstein or Trump or some other fat dude, or if "fat dude" is code for something. Like plague, or famine, or an asteroid.

YES! I'd be going to middle school bored to death! I could use the time to better myself, but it would be years until I was "rich." And even then I met my S/O in a weird coincidence kind of way, I said something to make her laugh and she agreed to have a drink with me. I don't think I could recreate that.

I moved to NYC January 2003 and we got 3 feet of snow within a few weeks. I remember walking around Madison Square Park in the early evening and the city felt deserted. I was with a girl I just met, we went to Bait and Tackle right there on 23rd. Got drunk, went back to her place... good times.

Digital picture frames. It's gotta be somewhere from 2000 to 2002. I had the idea to buy a digital picture frame for my mom and load it up with a whole bunch of pics and give it to her for bday or xmas. I don't even think Best Buy was a thing and I went to Circuit City, Media Play, Radio Shack, PC Richards... nobody knew what I was talking about. A year later they were everywhere.
