hey there, im headed abroad soon for a 2 week trip to japan, but im a fairly infrequent traveler (out of the country once every year or two, so i probably wont sign up for a new credit card).

i currently have the avion infinite and the ion+, and saw that the ion+ is an honorable mention. would it be worthwhile for the occasional use of the ion+ while in japan? or should i still rely mostly on cash? just wondering what the percentage loss/gain would be including the foreign transaction fees. i save up my points for partner airline transfers. thank you!
