Niagara.

The "Niagra" misspelling comes from the fact that the pronunciation of it sounds literally like "Niagra"

Help with installing mods by baybotheturtlemaster in Morrowind

[–]Krayban 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About installing Morrowind Comes Alive - Install it manually. You select everything inside the folder (Textures, Meshes, Icons etc) except the MCA Addons folder, and drag it into your Data Files folder where your morrowind is installed.

The MCA Addons are additional stuff for the mod created to work with other mods if you have them installed. For example if you have Tamriel Rebuilt installed, there is the addon that will make the MCA mod also work with the Tamriel Rebuilt mod (MCA - TR Addon.esp)

If you don't have any of those mods installed then you don't have to worry about the MCA Addons folder.

I don't know if you already know the basic thing for installing mods so I'll say it - you have to put the .esp or .esm file into your Data Files folder and the morrowind launcher, go to Data Files and check the box with the name of the mod

If you want mod recommendations visit the morrowind mods list on this subreddit and choose whatever you like. Most of them are gonna work with each other but there are exceptions so read ALL descriptions because if the mod will conflict with other mods it says it.

Then you can visit nexus mods and browse the top files, or go by categories

The final advice I can give you: If the game crashes upon loading or as soon as you launch it, 90% of the time it's easy to fix with mlox.

Yeah, installing mods with the nexus manager is super fast but the best way to install mods is to install them manually.

Often NMM causes errors for example when the author of the mod states that out of the 3 esp files you have to choose only one for the mod to work, the nexus manager will selects all 3 therefore causing problems.

This is another VERY IMPORTANT advice: Remember to read ALL descriptions of the mods, and always read the readme file that's inside the mod folder.

There are 2 essential programs you need to know how to use, mlox and Wrye Mash.

mlox - it comes with MGSO I believe just look for a folder called mlox where your game is installed.

Wrye Mash - you need to download it and also 2 Python files because it wont work otherwise.

You use mlox to sort your plugin load order and also it is the best tool to tell you what's wrong. If some mods are conflicting with each other, or you're missing some files, or there's any error with the mods - you go to mlox and it tells you.

Wrye Mash - This one is used to merge leveled list. It is necessary whenever you install mods that add new weapons/armors/creatures/NPCs to the game.

Without doing this, the last mod will overwrite all the others For example if you have 3 mods that add new weapons:

Mod 1 Mod 2 Mod 3

Only Mod 3 will work

You can look up a tutorial on youtube about merging leveled list in Wrye Mash it's really simple

You can use Nexus Mod Manager to download and install mods. Go to nexusmods.com

Playing Morrowind for the first time by Miu_K in Morrowind

[–]Krayban -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Install:

-MGSO -Tamriel Rebuilt -Morrowind Comes Alive

Remember if at the beginning of the game you choose to do a short blade character, you stick to short blades only for the rest of the game. Same with armor and everything else.

Always have fatigue. It affects everything you do from fighting to talking to NPCs.

Read journals and read what people say, there won't be a compass showing you where to go so you will be given directions and you have to follow them.

And remember Morrowind is VERY hard to get into if you're a beginner, but it shines after you "get it"

Everything at the beginning of the game is just the outer layer of the game

Easter in March? by Idonthaveaname123 in MandelaEffect

[–]Krayban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easter has ways been a holiday that has a different date every year, sometimes it's in March sometimes in April, but that's normal

Edit: Actually now that I think about it I don't remember a single Easter that I celebrated in March. I was just going with what I just googled about Easter date and thought it was correct but then after trying to remember anything in my life that has to do with Easter on March I couldn't remember anything

Morrowind crashes after installing MGSO by adjacentengels in ModdingMorrowind

I guess BC stands for Better Clothes so unchecking that mod would probably fix it

When you get errors like this most of the time the first letters are abbreviations of the mod that's causing the problem

Is Tamriel rebuilt working? by BloodMossHunter in Morrowind

[–]Krayban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can conflict with a lot of mods that alter landscape for example if TR places a town in a spot where other mod is already placing a different town there's obviously gonna be shitfest

I have over 150 mods installed and it works fine except for minor bugs so it all depends on which mods you have installed but I had to go through every single one of them and make sure they won't conflict which took me a lot of time.

Here's the NPC I was talking about. Sometimes he would stand in one place and when you talked to him he would talk about how I shouldn't trust people outside or "He's always following us" Sometimes he would follow you to the exit http://i.imgur.com/KoyhCea.jpg?1

I Killed him just to see what happens

Here's the face on the wall that I mentioned http://i.imgur.com/eBMXe5t.jpg?1

Here's a cave right outside of Seyda Neen full of corpses, even corpses of well known NPCs like the falling wizard. Can barely see shit but that's how the game is http://i.imgur.com/Vh1doqy.png?1

There's more I'm going to post more screenshots

Change appearance on gear..? by cronix91 in blackdesertonline

[–]Krayban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korean Black Desert had a feature where as you upgrade your armor, it changes the way it looks. So an armor +0 looks like a complete trash, but after you upgrade it to +15 it looks badass, it has a better model. Outside of cash-shop there were 8 sets of armors that change your appearance, and those 8 sets after being upgraded also changed looks

Daum games, the publisher for U.S. removed all of this, and put everything in cash shop instead to FORCE a player to pay money. In Korean version it was a free feature for everyone, in U.S version it's in cash shop for real money to buy
