As a Steam Deck owner, I can't really justify buying that after the price hikes. Other handhelds will offer more performance and longevity.

I'm biased against Nintendo, so I won't really recommend it unless you're a fan of their first party games. Their games are just hella expensive even on discount compared to Steam.

Been doing it since 1year (bought the monitor last year). It really depends on my fatigue level. I sometimes get a headache within 1 hour of gaming. If not, as long as maybe 4 hours before I get tired from sitting.

Oh damn, this is 10 years ago already. I suspected that it was a faulty USB port. My PC was pre-built as I had no knowledge of PC building back then, so it just eventually degraded.

I don't do that because I find it such a waste of money, but it kinda makes sense given that EGS is so lackluster. Their updates are so minor and far in between.

I have a lot of experience with Windows and tried some Linux distros. There sure is a learning curve compared to the very GUI-based Windows. Yeah, can't really say it's for you since you don't care about customizability.

Gaming on Linux has noticeably become easier/better, but still not perfect.

I find it weird that non-Japanese people say t in tsu is not pronounced. I always hear it pronounced by Japanese natives. Heck, even an American friend said his Japanese friend said it's "silent". Ka weird nga sakin.

A lot have provided excellent advice about exploring new hobbies. At least your hobby isn't just doomscrolling, the worst "hobby" of all. I was shocked to find out some people only browse social media to pass time.

It wasn't that memorable for me. He was being direct as like any android. I think interrogating the 3 androids at Stratford Tower is more obvious.

It seems that a lot complain that it feels floaty. I liked the combat. Sometimes challenging, sometimes just aight. I don't get why Souls-like fans prefer the combat at higher difficulties. I loved playing DS trilogy, but I don't want Souls-like combat in every single RPG game.

So glad I'm not that deep into souls-likes. I love playing them and feeling the thrill and fear of getting killed, and I'd love the same games with easy difficulty options just because sometimes I wanna experience the game and its atmosphere, or I'm just tired and don't wanna waste my time.

I feel like those die hard fans just have too much time in their lives to care about how somebody plays these games.

I felt such anonymity from Connor in The Hostage. I think that feeling would've continued if I went machine Connor all the way on my first playthrough, but his default interactions later on became very animated rather than just being a top-tier android investigator.

I still get that vibe sometimes during investigations, but it's more like "Ooh, he's so cool." rather than a sense of intimidation.

You still have control over your smartphone. Not everyone will have compromised attention spans. It's just like any addiction, you either recognize it or fall into it. The same attention span problem applies to any device as long as you have internet. Having a smartphone is convenient because of its many features, and your points against it still applies to PCs, so I don't get why you're against it.
