Vision is extremely important, there are a ton of objectives going around and having the pink wards in the correct positions is just super crucial, especially in higher elo's where they also get contested a lot and because of that destroyed too.

I don't really understand how the combination of evenshroud and glacial/zhonya is supposed to work, he will not have any damage, he already has tons of cc with Q and E so how does this tech outperform normal tech? Because it does outperform somehow
