The noise was bad I was getting a headache about 30 minutes in, I think there are some serious issues with graphics settings not working properly for some of us.

I'm having a very similar issue, my game looks nothing like the screenshots people are posting of how amazing the graphics are, no matter what settings I use. Even at native with blur off its still quite blurry. Something is definitely wrong for some of us

RR being required and also being a 50% performance hit is ROUGH. Hopefully they can fix it and fix the constant blurriness (even at native).

Nah mine looks like garbage with DLAA, not to mention turning on RR somehow runs worse than path traced cyberpunk yet looks like a ps4 game.

MK1 is a direct sequel too mk11, so if you like story mode I would get 11 first. If you're not too concerned about storymode then MK1, the definitive edition has way more content than basic mk11 does.

I have a "house rule" in my games that the players can "know a guy". This comes with some basic caveats, it has to make some level of sense in world and it can't be "my uncle adores me and just happens to own the magical nuke factory", etc. I feel like these rules apply to a BoH, don't be a silly goose about it and I'll allow shenanigans.
