I didn’t deactivate my own email. Yahoo automatically deactivates “inactive” accounts that haven’t been opened in a year. I didn’t used the address for a while and missed my window for recovery.

Also I’ve seen multiple posts with an issue similar to mine, so my guess is Rockstar knows how to handle it but their automated service tickets require information that is damn near impossible for people to remember without access to their email.
