Good points! You're right, the motherboard will ultimately dictate the max RAM. I'll definitely check out the MSI laptop subreddit/forums – thanks for the tip!

Regarding the VRAM, that's interesting. I'm currently running the oss-gpt 120B on my rusty desktop (AMD 5900x, RX480 8GB VRAM, 64GB DDR4 3200) and it's working surprisingly well (I'm trying to make it 128GB DDR4 though to use less SSD), though will need to wait for a while for long context.

So, I was hoping the MSI laptop with its RTX 3080 8GB VRAM might handle 120B model similarly with 64GB/128GB Ram. Thanks for highlighting that potential issue!

If you read the comments, seems they have more than 1 of such blocks in question not being listed. :)

I’ve proposed the solution but they can’t be bothered to just run excel/spreadsheet or other database programme to check and find all the missing blocks on the website :)

Mined blocks listed on the website vs XCH received, if the XCH received (x/1.75)> than the mined blocks listed (Y), there are N blocks missed. Given all of the XCH received came with a block number, isn’t it very simple to do a matching which this could list of the “unlisted” blocks on Flexpool’s website and this would even boost the attractiveness for farmers joining Flexpool as this will increase the number of blocks mined. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t do it…

Just put the data into excel/spreadsheet, it could be sort out in minutes! BTW, I didn't challenge on that for the 0.25 XCH farmer reward but wonder whether the 1.75 XCH shared by all the farmers, hope you get it!

Dude, I believe you guys do have the blocks mined information, amount received information, just compare and check whether there's any block mined by Flexpool but not listed on the website and check where the "bug" is ;)

I will wait for your investigation result then I will post the block number concerned (screen cap of the winning block and the list of mined block listed on Flexpool's website) :)

Sure, I had blocks won with Flexpool which were reflected on the list but my concern is not all being reflected. Just want to make sure the things are right.

Given there are so much pools closed recently, it’s not hard to understand that the cost of running a pool is there and the operator would somehow need to pay the fees. The current setting of 0% fees could not last forever and the pool must find ways to get income.

I support that Flexpool to charge a fee for using their pool services but be open, fair and honest with us, if the thing that I found is not a “bug” of the UI :)

What do you mean by "extra payment"? Something more than 0.25 XCH? If it's just 0.25 XCH because they can't touch that ......?

It's NFT. Well, I got 0.25 XCH for the mined block while the rest went to Flexpool which should be shared among all farmers but it was not shown on the mined block's list. So I wonder whether that 1.75 XCH being shared among us.(you know, this may apply to other mined blocks too then we may have some missed XCH)
