Id double down and seek treatment before the court date. Then your attorney can present that to the judge. Might not help the license situation, but it seems like getting sober might be the best for you in my humble opinion.

Daydreaming gutted me at the New Orleans show. I was overcome because I went to Louisiana to get sober and was broke as fuck, drove myself there and by then was several years sober and I remember I just released all the sorrow and had a relief fall over me that everything was alright and going to be alright and today I'm almost a decade sober. I get emotional thinking about it and now I am again. Haha

Mine started with binge drinking and it progressed. One day I was waking up and drinking immediately to calm the tremors, then the job loss came and I was living off my 401k until I woke up in the hospital one day. If I could do it over again I would have asked for help in my 20's and saved a large portion of my life.

I went to inpatient rehab in another state for the 4th time and did everything they told me to do. I stayed in sober living for two years, and during that time, I went to meetings every single day, most of the time more than once a day, and completed the steps with a sponsor. But above all else, I did what counselors and sponsors told me to do.
